After a long day of Camino walking, staying at this hotel was truly the perfect choice. The location is amazing — surrounded by nature, with the peaceful sound of the river flowing right beside it. It felt so calming and restorative after hours of walking.
The atmosphere is quiet, beautiful, and deeply relaxing. Waking up to the sound of water and greenery around you makes the whole experience very special and memorable.
The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable and gave us the rest we really needed after the Camino journey.
The food was exceptionally good. We ordered the grilled octopus and the steak, and both were absolutely delicious — fresh, well-cooked, and full of flavor. Breakfast was also excellent, with a great variety and very good quality.
Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, warm, and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant.
This place is more than just a hotel — it feels like a peaceful retreat in nature. It is truly one of the best experiences we had during our trip. Highly recommended and a must-stay if you are visiting Cádiz or walking the Camino and need a beautiful, relaxing place to recharge.

About 5 minutes walk from VIGO URZAI station (high-speed rail) station. About 15 minutes walk from VIGO GUIXAR station (local line).
You have to be careful not to pass by because the entrance is difficult to understand.
The receptionist was friendly and friendly with English.
WiFi worked smoothly. (Speed is normal. Not fast)
There was a toothbrush in the amenities.
The shower has shampoo and body soap, conditioner and body cream.
I ordered a quiet room at trip.com, but I heard the sound of the horn in the room on the roadside.
I didn't hear the sound of the next room, but I heard the doors opening and closing and the hallways.

ImadetravelogsParador is state owned luxury hotel converted from historic buildings. I booked this hotel because I was walking Camino de Santiago - Portuguese way. The hotel is right on the way. The hotel sits nicely along the Minho river. It is not near the church or supermarket but it is walkable. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. I must say the receptionist was very helpful and friendly, I think her name is Marie. She tried to help us with our luggage transfer. Really appreciate.

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel (Room 210, April 13–14). Unfortunately, the experience was far from restful. The guests in the room directly above us (likely two Spanish men) were speaking loudly and even shouting until 3–4 am, making it impossible for us to sleep especially frustrating after a long day of walking the Camiño.
We specifically chose this hotel over an albergue, expecting a quiet and comfortable night, but sadly that was not the case. Although I understand that noise from other guests can be difficult to control, the hotel didn’t seem fully booked. It might have been possible for the staff to arrange rooms more thoughtfully to avoid placing guests directly above one another when there is availability.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was genuinely upsetting, and I hope the hotel can take this feedback into account to improve future guests’ experiences.

Guest UserThe hotel is well the only disadvantage I see is that I should have a refrigerator in the rooms like all hotels in that category
If I don't come back it is for the location because I don't know the area I've stayed very far from my workplace
But it's not a hotel mistake
The hotel is in general great
Rooms are comfortable a big telephone thanks
The bathroom with shower plate is also thankful and renovated
Overall a 10/10

This hotel was very nice and clean.
There were a pool and terrace.
I could the sea from my room. The view was very nice.
Breakfast was good.
I stayed here for 2 nights. In the second morning I had to leave here early so I thought I couldn’t have breakfast but staffs prepared my picnic breakfast. I satisfied it.
Staffs were very kind. I left my luggage in the bus. I told them about that. They called the bus office immediately and picked it up to my room. Thank you so much.

Tough_crybabyThis was a very unique stay, a hotel that was built around their Michelin starred restaurant. It is in the middle of the “nowhere”, which had a secluded and oasis feel. The room was very interestingly designed, with an all around glass that had a very scenic effect during the day. At night, we were told to let down the all black covering to block out the light. This was a little bit intense for us and could feel a bit claustrophobic, but we got used to it in the end.
The food at the restaurant was of course the star of the show. We had the dinner which was a good experience, but we enjoyed the breakfast even more! All the ingredients were extremely fresh and delicious. And the view is unbeatable. For breakfast, the set menu was originally all sweet items, but they were happy to accommodate our requests for eggs. I would suggest adding a savory element to the breakfast.
I would also suggest for the hotel to have “room service” or snacks available for guests during the day. Since the hotel is remote, and the towns nearby all “shut down” in the middle of the day, if the guests wanted food it would be great to have some options from the hotel outside of set meal times.
Staff were all extremely nice and helpful.

I recently stayed at Hotel Maroa Vigo and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s location is ideal, situated between Plaza de Compostela and the ferry terminal for the Cíes Islands, making it convenient for exploring both the city and the beautiful surrounding areas.
The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, offering all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any queries or recommendations for local attractions and dining.
The only minor drawbacks were the absence of hair conditioner and a small kettle in the room to make a cup of tea but for the price of the room I will not complain.

A pretty good choice for the area as not too far to drive to Pontevedra or the beach resorts along the Ria. Hotel was comfortable and clean although lacked a few touches. Kettle in the room to make drinks would have been nice, as too would some English speaking tv channels. Breakfast was nice but could have been varied per day. Staff were very friendly. The pool area was nice although spoiled by the road noise. Our room faced the rear car park which wasn’t great, so try and request a front facing room if possible.

A few minutes walk from Central Bus Station / Train Station. Department store and restaurant nearby. 15 minutes walk to main high street; 20 minutes walk to ferry pier.
Breakfast buffet - normal continental style with some varieties, but no sausage / cooked tomatoes
The room is clean, with air conditioning. Yet only HEATING is on, the cooling option is disabled centrally. This means the room is very warm at night
