Catalonia properties in Barcelona

Toilet paper wasn't consistently refilled; some days it was, some days it wasn't. Water bottles were only provided on the first day of our stay. The location is good, right outside the metro station, but there are quite a few shady characters around. Cons: The restaurant is right next to the elevator on the ground floor, and also close to the main entrance, which feels a bit insecure. Anyone with bad intentions could easily follow you into the elevator and up to the rooms. One day, after housekeeping had cleaned, I came back to the room and the entire place reeked of cigarette smoke. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was there with my family, for two times, it was good overall. Only the reception ladies were sharing different informaiton regarding the Breakfast rate from last two times. In Jan 2026, the reception told us the breakfast is the same price if we reserve it one day before or just pay on the day. But in March 2026, another reception told us there will be discount if we reserve the breakfast before the next day. It would be good for the hotel to share the correct policy. Anyways, the overall stay was good.

The room was quite spacious and clean, and the shower was surprisingly large. I also noticed that the building across the street from my window was quite nice. The hotel entrance is right by a bus stop, and the subway station is also close by. The area feels very safe at night. The only minor issue was that the safe seemed broken; it kept flashing and wouldn't lock, but I left my valuables in the room anyway and nothing went missing. The front desk staff were very friendly, and one of them even said 'thank you' in Chinese, which was a nice touch, haha!

There was a welcome drink, and I was given a Caba. The room was clean, and above all, the location was excellent. The shower water pressure was a little weak. I was charged for the minibar I didn't use, but the refund was smooth. It's a good idea to check beforehand.

A cozy hotel located in a wonderful neighbourhood of Barcelona. The best aspect of the hotel is the breakfast - one of the best breakfasts I have had in spanish hotels. The swimming pool and jacuzzi is great consisering the small size of the hotel. The soundproofing between rooms could be improved but in general its okay. the beds are comfortable. Workers are helpful.

Hotel Catalonia Sagrada Familia, Barcelona This hotel is well-situated for visiting the best places of interest in Barcelona - it is only a fifteen minute walk to the famous Sagrada Familia church. It is also very close to a metro station that will take you anywhere in the city, including the old city, the rail station and the airport. The reception staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful, the cleaning staff very efficient and all the amenities in the room all work well. The room is not large but perfectly adequate for a stay of a few days, the bed is comfortable with soft pillows and there is an outdoor terrace with table and chairs for a cocktail after a hard day’s sightseeing! There is also a bar and restaurant, gym and pool in the hotel so, in summary, this is a much better 3-star hotel compared against most others in Spain.

The hotel is located in a great place. It is close to a metro stop - Vallcarca and the bus is also easily accessible. From the reception to the restaurants, everyone is very welcoming. Jose, the head waiter at breakfast is truly estupendo and we all loved him. There is also an excellent bar on premises. We will definitely stay there if we come back to beautiful Barcelona.

Great location, within walking distance of the main church, Picasso Museum. The nearby alleys are very good. The hotel is modern and well-equipped. It is difficult to have slippers and toothbrushes. It is really not available in general hotels! And the service staff is very enthusiastic, will choose this next time you go to Barcelona!

The hotel is located very close to Sants Station, making it a good choice if you have business in other areas such as PortAventura. If you are assigned to a room inside the building, you will not be able to tell whether it is day or night outside.

The hotel was located in a good spot for travelling . It was really clean and room service was good. I would rate it a lot higher but the only problems I had were . 1. I couldn’t really let fresh air into the bathroom and 2. I didn’t have any brush to clean the toilet . I thought it was unusual but the other room we rented didn’t have it either . I just used the shower to clean the toilet .. apart from that it was good and I would recommend it to everyone else
