Everything was good, very clean and pleasant. It's clear the hotel is well-maintained and kept in order. During our stay, the lobby was being painted, but the next day there was no smell or trace of paint left. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was that the initial information mentioned a window in the room, but it actually overlooks the hotel's interior hallways. The hotel is very well-located, only about 10 minutes from the famous Gaudi buildings.

This hotel doesn't even deserve a single star! If I had to give any credit, it would only be to the Trip.com customer service, the hotel's front desk staff, and the restaurant servers themselves. First off, this is NOT a Marriott Aloft, don't be misled by the Chinese name. Secondly, the hotel's facilities are abysmal: 1. The sink stopper was broken; they replaced it the next day, and it broke again that very night. 2. The bathroom door handle was missing. 3. The shower water got progressively hotter, and the temperature control was completely unreliable. 4. There were two bottles of hand soap but no lotion, and the front desk said that's how it's supposed to be... The facilities are worse than a roadside inn. Here's the main point! The management has absolutely no service awareness and their management is a total mess! On our first night, we discovered damaged facilities in our room. We contacted the hotel through Trip.com customer service to request a room change. However, the hotel insisted we had to return to the hotel in the morning to discuss the room change with the front desk, even though we were already out sightseeing. They wouldn't even allow us to do it in the afternoon. The hilarious part is, when we returned to the hotel on the second night, there was a letter from the front desk in our room stating that we hadn't requested a room change during check-in, so they were unsure why we now had this request. If we wanted to change rooms, we *had* to speak to the front desk in the morning. Yes, they were completely oblivious to the fact that guests request a room change because THEIR facilities are broken, and they still self-righteously demanded we apply for a room change in the morning. Even more ridiculous, on the third night, we returned to find our room hadn't even been cleaned! There was only one young woman at the front desk, and she couldn't even get us fresh towels; we had to wait until much later when her colleague arrived for their shift. We are absolutely furious about this! We were only staying for 3 days, and it somehow managed to get worse each day! We must learn from this lesson: next time we encounter such a terrible hotel, we should immediately move out instead of foolishly hoping that the hotel will have self-awareness and proactively improve its service! So, I strongly advise against staying here! Don't fall for it! Even hotels in lower price ranges are not as bad as this one!

The location is super convenient for getting around, close to attractions and transport hubs, plus there's a supermarket right across the street. However, the room was quite small and cramped, with a noticeable strange odor inside. The ventilation wasn't great either, so my overall stay wasn't ideal.

Some staff members here are discriminatory towards Chinese people. I stayed for six or seven days and was only given one bottle of water, and their attitude was very poor. I probably won't be staying here again. It wasn't a good experience, so everyone should really look elsewhere.

The room was a bit old, but the location was great, within walking distance to Casa Milà and Casa Batlló. The room was cleaned daily, but I constantly had to ask the front desk for toiletries, which was a hassle. The front desk seemed very focused on saving money for the company; every time I asked, they'd make me check my room first, and if I didn't have any, I'd have to wait for them to get it. It felt like giving an extra toothbrush would affect their personal KPIs. They were incredibly quick to take payment, practically staring at you. I wish they were as quick to provide the services customers needed. The service wasn't great. The area is full of bars, so it might be a good idea to be cautious walking around at night. Free water was only provided on the first day, and it was a tiny bottle from the mini-bar.

Surprised to see so many positive reviews for this hotel. Check-in experience was a headache. They let you scan a QR code and then you have to provide all kinds of information and your email address. After that you get spammed by Barcello Group. No amenities like disposable slippers, toothbrush, showercap and the free water bottles on the first day are really only for the first day. You have to pay for them on the 2nd day and beyond. Walls are very thin so you can hear sounds from other rooms easily. People talking, TV sounds and sound of the in-room BT speaker. Rooms are very basic. Location is decent but not right at the center. Around 5 minutes walk to L4 Diagonal station. Across the road there's an ALDI where you can buy breads and milk if you don't have the breakfast included. All-in-all a decent place if it was for a 2 star price, but we paid for a 3-4 star.

The hotel's interior decor was a bit like a nightclub, with pink and purple lighting, but the stay itself was very comfortable. It's close to both the city center and the metro station, and there's a Lidl right across the street, which was convenient for picking up daily necessities.
