A Week in Barcelona — Staying at Hotel Serhs Del Port (Early February) Spending a week in Barcelona in early February felt relaxed and unhurried, and staying at Hotel Serhs Del Port played a big part in that. Overall, it was a comfortable base with a few details that really stood out—both good and not so good. I was very lucky with my room placement. My room faced the patio, which meant it stayed wonderfully quiet. The window didn’t look out onto the main street or neighboring buildings, and that made a big difference—especially at night. After long days out in the city, coming back to that calm felt like a small luxury. The breakfast was another highlight. The selection was good and varied, with both cold and warm dishes, pastries, and a fresh orange juice extractor that felt especially fitting for Spain. It was easy to start the day well-fed without needing to think too much about it. I also really appreciated the coworking space. It was pleasant and functional, and I found myself using it often. Having a comfortable place to sit and work without retreating to the room made the stay feel more balanced and productive. The staff, both at the front desk and in the restaurant, were consistently friendly and helpful. Interactions felt natural and unforced, which always makes a hotel feel more welcoming. Location-wise, the hotel was very convenient. La Rambla was only about a 4–5 minute walk away, close enough to be easily accessible but far enough to avoid the constant noise. The surrounding area was lively in a good way, filled with restaurants, bars, and supermarkets, making daily life simple and flexible. That said, there was one downside that was hard to ignore: the walls were thin. I could clearly hear the snoring/ coughing of the gentleman in the neighboring room, which definitely broke the illusion of privacy on some nights. All in all, Hotel Serhs Del Port offered a comfortable, well-located stay with thoughtful touches and friendly service. A quieter room placement made a big difference—but thinner walls are something to keep in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

The hotel is super convenient for getting to the city center and all the attractions. The metro station is just a few minutes' walk from the entrance, and it's also very easy to get to the cruise terminal. Highly recommend!

Good hotel, booked it because it's very close to the cruise port. I recommend it to anyone flying into Barcelona for a cruise.

Fantastic hotel! The only issue was that the cleaning wasn't top-notch, but I brought it up with management and it immediately improved significantly.

The room was spotless and featured a balcony that could be opened. The self-service breakfast was incredibly generous and delicious! Its location is superb: it's very close to the cruise shuttle bus stop, Columbus Square, and La Rambla. Public transportation (bus and metro) to all major attractions is also easily accessible, making it extremely convenient. The hotel staff, from the front desk to dining and housekeeping, were all exceptionally friendly and welcoming. This hotel is highly recommended!

Great location from cruise port, cab is required. All the front desk staff were amazing. Very nice rooms. With complimentary tea/coffee and a lrg bottle water daily. The breakfast is worth getting - nice selection even GF options were avail!

The staff were incredibly friendly and the welcome was warm. We received excellent tips for exploring Lisbon. Our room was clean and comfortable, equipped with a complimentary bottle of water, a kettle, and tea. We particularly appreciated the thoughtful touches at check-in, such as candies, small pastries, and refreshing lemonades.

The breakfast was great, and the hotel is just a 3-minute walk from the subway station.

Excellent location, all the key shopping malls, highlights are within 2km. Also near to metro station, and super near to ports, so prefect place for a morning run! Very friendly and excellent services by the reception! Happy stay
