Excellent location, right across from Casa Batlló and within walking distance to Casa Milà. Great for shopping and dining. The room was spacious and comfortable with all the essentials. The pool was a bit small, and I didn't try the breakfast. No complaints really, other than the price...

This hotel is absolutely worth staying at. Over our 8-day, 7-night stay, we deeply appreciated the warm and enthusiastic service from the Mandarin Oriental staff. The room was clean and well-arranged, and the hotel breakfast was fantastic. It was our first time trying Iberian ham, paired with fresh, tender greens – a truly delicious combination (that's how my husband and I enjoyed it!). Furthermore, many of the Asian dishes we ordered were quite authentic. We especially want to thank Ana for the fruit platter and the two boxes of exquisite chocolates as a parting gift, and also room service for sending us a beautiful paper-folded flower.

Great location and highly recommend the breakfast. However, being in the old town, the room types are quite standard, and the rooftop pool wasn't open. Service was excellent, especially a shout-out to Danny from Chinese heritage.

When I continued to make extension at the hotel at seven in the morning, the front desk said that there was no problem. The room was rather small, and the window wasn't in a good position. The reason I felt it was just average is probably because others could get this room type for less money. As for the service, it wasn't as outstanding as typical Asian hotels. Except for the small windows, everything else about this hotel is impeccable, as it is a renovated old bank. The service is also very good.
