Hesperia Barcelona Presidente

This hotel was very clean and the reception staff were incredibly friendly. They even allowed me to check in early. I enjoyed relaxing in the lobby where I could get water. The location was great with many bus stops nearby, making it easy to get anywhere. It was also convenient that it's only about a 30 Euro taxi ride from the airport. The view from the window was lovely too. It's a bit pricey with the added local tax, but that's to be expected.

I really liked the hotel's location. On my very first evening after checking in, I walked to many interesting sights and shops. Bus stops were also conveniently nearby, making it easy to get back in the evening and leave in the morning. There's a large Mercadona supermarket close by, as well as a small 24-hour convenience store for groceries, perfect if you return late and the supermarket is closed. The room itself was very spacious and beautiful; I felt like I was on "Oryol i Reshka" with a gold card! :) I was pleased to find a large wardrobe for clothes storage. I had no complaints about the cleanliness of the room; after each cleaning, they always left drinking water in glass bottles. Only pleasant impressions remain :)

The hotel is a bit of a walk from the metro station, but there's a bus stop nearby with routes to many attractions. There are also plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and small shops in the area. It's about a 20-minute walk to Casa Batlló and Casa Milà. The room was quite spacious, with a capsule coffee machine and a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks. The only downside was the late check-in time; they said 3 PM, but even arriving at 3:30 PM, we still had to wait until 4 PM to get into our room.

Hands down the worst hotel ever! The previous hotels in Barcelona were all fantastic, but unfortunately they were fully booked, so I had to stay here for one night, and it was truly awful. **Cleanliness:** Filthy! I was so itchy, and I even found bug bites on the bed in my room! **Facilities:** Incredibly noisy with terrible soundproofing. There was a constant booming noise all night. And the shower water kept fluctuating between scalding hot and freezing cold – impossible to have a proper shower. **Service:** Absolutely terrifying. A man, I'm not sure if he was hotel staff, suddenly entered my room using a card key. He said he was there to put books away. I was so scared and still feel traumatized, wondering what he intended to do! I strongly advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs!

The room was quite spacious; my friend and I had no problem opening up both our suitcases. The water pressure in the bathroom was excellent, making showers and hair washing quite comfortable. The location is pretty good too – a bit far from the subway but there's a bus stop right outside. It's super convenient for getting to Casa Milà, Casa Batlló, and Sagrada Família. The area feels safe, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. The staff were very friendly and spoke English fluently, so communication was a breeze. However, there were a few issues. Firstly, there was no shower curtain for the bathtub, so the bathroom floor was soaked every time we showered, and it got quite chilly after a while. Secondly, the duvet didn't have a proper cover; instead, two sheets were used above and below it, and all three layers were tucked in so tightly under the mattress by the staff that we had to struggle to pull the duvet out every night. We ended up asking the front desk not to make our beds for the rest of our stay. Though, I hear this duvet cover situation might be common in Europe. Lastly, the soundproofing was really poor. We were lucky our neighbors weren't too noisy, and my friend and I aren't particularly sensitive to sound, but you could honestly hear every little thing happening next door. All in all, it was a mixed bag, but for the price and location, we couldn't really expect much more.

It was great, the bedding was really good! The small suite was also spacious for 3 people, and breakfast was plentiful! The staff was very friendly.
