Hampton by Hilton Barcelona Fira Gran Via

Had a short visit to Barcelona and the Hampton it was the perfect choice for us, and very good value for money comparing what we paid and what we got. Hotel - The hotel is modern and is well decorated. Room has everything you need with a TV, iron, fridge etc. The room was clean and was bright. It was super hot in Barcelona and AC took a while to cool the room down, but eventually it cooled nicely - but I did find the lobby to always be hot. Location - I liked the location as it's half way between the city centre and the airport. It's also less than five minutes from the metro and commuter rail stations meaning quick and easy access to the airport and city centre by public transport. There are buses too, but I didn't use them so can't comment. It's also right next to a big shopping mall with the usual stores, chain restaurants, supermarket. However, some might prefer closer to the centre so it depends on the person. Breakfast - It was a decent choice. Plenty of seats as the dining room is big. Overall, I was very happy with the stay and would use this hotel again.

Near public transport, convenient to travel to Airport and city.

Hotel was accusing us on false use of facility. Unacceptable. The experience was disaster and the location is far.

We absolutely loved it, will most definitely be staying here again.

Great front desk service that allowed us to check early. The hotel is within walking distance from europa fira train station. From airport take orange L9 subway line.
