Eurostars Cristal Palace

The location is super convenient! You can walk to Gaudi's three masterpieces, and there's a Loewe flagship store downstairs, as well as a sports shop. Across the street, there's a small supermarket where you can buy water. This is the only hotel in my 14 days in Europe that cleaned the room every day, but they don't provide water daily – only on check-in day. There's no public laundry room, but you can give your clothes in a bag to the front desk for 20 Euros per bag.

The hotel's location couldn't be better. It's less than a 5-minute walk to Casa Batlló, and for Sagrada Familia, it's a 5-minute walk to the metro, then just three stops on the L2 line. From the airport, taking the A1 bus to Plaça de Catalunya, it's about a 10-minute walk to the hotel. I wouldn't recommend that walk in the midday sun. The bus ticket is 7.75 euros per person, while an Uber is around 30 euros. I was really impressed with the bathroom; it had a separate bathtub and shower, and everything was very new. The bedding was comfortable, and the surrounding area felt safe. As a newly renovated hotel, everything was spotlessly clean. In the lobby, there were marshmallows and lemon-mint water available, and the security guard at the entrance was very friendly.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful architecture, very close to attractions, and in an excellent location. It's super convenient with plenty of bus and metro options nearby. There are tons of restaurants, including one amazing tapas place. This is a 4-star standard hotel in Barcelona. The rooms are a good size, the air conditioning works great, and there's a kettle and a mini-fridge. Since it was peak tourist season in Spain, it was incredibly crowded everywhere. The only minor issue was that room cleaning was a bit slow, perhaps due to understaffing or it being a holiday.

The room wasn't very big, and there were no toothbrushes or toothpaste provided. We brought our own, so we didn't ask the front desk for any. The service from the handsome guys and beautiful ladies at the front desk was decent. There are complimentary apples and cool water in the lobby. It's quite close to the subway.

First off, the soundproofing in the room is terrible. You can hear everything happening next door crystal clear. There was a connecting door between our room and the next, and it was even left open when we checked in, which really messed with our sleep. Plus, the staff just walked in to clean without knocking while we were still resting. Honestly, I'd be very cautious about choosing this hotel. The street noise is also pretty bad.

Going to try breakfast in a bit. Here, drinking water is self-service! Very good.

The hotel has a great location, convenient transportation, plenty of restaurants nearby, and excellent service.
