The only good thing about this hotel is the view from the upper floors. Everything else is pretty mediocre. If you happen to visit during peak season or get assigned a lower-floor room, the view isn't anything special either. You can even see the Sagrada Familia from the first and second-floor rooms. I've stayed here three times, and the first experience was definitely the best, including the service. The service during my subsequent two stays was just okay. (Photos comparing the high and low floor views during two separate stays.)

【The Best Hotel for an Unforgettable Barcelona Experience】 Without a doubt, the greatest advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the Sagrada Familia. While some rooms offer Sagrada Familia views, mine was on the opposite side. However, the hotel boasts a rooftop bar. Guests can access it for free during operating hours just to take photos, or, if there are open seats, they can order drinks and food and enjoy the Sagrada Familia view! I was lucky enough to enjoy a beer with some Jamón Serrano and tomato bread during my visit. The view of the Sagrada Familia from this rooftop bar is truly stunning and unforgettable; it made my trip to Barcelona feel incredibly worthwhile!! The hotel rooms are also spacious and comfortable. Amenities provided include toothbrushes, combs, and shower caps. The soundproofing from the hallway and neighboring rooms seemed excellent as well. The room rate is on the higher side for Barcelona, but considering the immediate access to such a spectacular view, I’d say it's well worth it.

I booked this hotel hoping it would be close to the Sagrada Familia, but most of the rooms don't even have a view, which defeats the purpose. The rooftop view of the Sagrada Familia was crowded, and the environment wasn't great. The room was incredibly small, comparable to some in Japan, the bed was just okay, and the shower experience was really bad. Not great value for money. I realized in the end that being close to the Sagrada Familia wasn't that useful because you only go once anyway, and for other places, you still need a taxi or a long walk. It's really not worth paying extra for a hotel like this just for the Sagrada Familia.

The Sagrada Familia view from the 8th floor was absolutely amazing! The hotel's proximity to both bus stops and the metro was also a big plus. However, the Trip.com page states that water is free, which is not true. Also, breakfast starts quite late at 7:30 AM and the menu never changes. The shower pressure was also very weak. I guess I had set my expectations a little too high.

This was a truly beautiful and excellent hotel! The rooftop was also wonderful, and the staff were entertaining, making for a really great time! It's not too far from the station and there's a supermarket nearby, so it was super convenient for quick shopping. If I had to wish for one thing, it would be a balcony in the room—that would have made for even more amazing photos!

The front desk staff, particularly a gentleman who spoke fluent Chinese, made our check-in incredibly smooth. The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Sagrada Familia, and we had a stunning view of its upper section from our window. Guests can also visit the outdoor bar on the 8th floor for some great photo opportunities. There's a fantastic Chinese restaurant right outside the hotel, just to the left. Overall, a very good experience.

I recently stayed at Sercotel Hotel Rosellón and had a mixed experience. The location is definitely a highlight—it’s just a short walk to the Sagrada Familia, which makes it very convenient for sightseeing. The surrounding area is also easy to navigate, with access to public transportation nearby. However, the maintenance of the hotel needs improvement. On our very first night, the bathroom lavatory was already clogged the first time we used it. The bathroom tiles also had visible mold, which was quite disappointing and affected the overall cleanliness impression. Another downside is the room temperature control. Guests cannot adjust it themselves since it’s centrally managed. During our stay, I woke up sweating on two separate nights, which made it quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was just okay—very basic, with limited choices and the same selection every day. The only standout for me was the freshly squeezed orange juice, which was a nice touch. We also tried the rooftop bar, mainly for the view of the Sagrada Familia, which is indeed beautiful. Unfortunately, the food did not match the view. The nachos were bland, and the burgers were not enjoyable. Overall, while the location is excellent, I personally find this hotel overrated. If you’re planning to explore more of Barcelona, I would recommend considering other accommodations, as the city is very accessible by bus and metro anyway.

Great service and a good location! You can even open the window and see the cathedral, and there's a rooftop where you can take photos.

They gave us a room facing the Sagrada Familia, so we could lie in bed and admire it. There was no drinking water provided in the room, but with such a direct view of the Sagrada Familia, nothing else mattered! We'll definitely choose this place again next time.
