Hotel Royal Passeig de Gracia

I booked this hotel based on its location and reviews, as I was planning to fully enjoy Barcelona. I arrived at the hotel around 9:30 AM after an early morning flight. I intended to just drop off my luggage, but they allowed me to check in right away, so I was able to go straight to my room. Officially, check-in was at 3 PM, so that was a nice surprise! The room itself was clean and functional. Perhaps because I was on the first floor, I could hear water flowing nearby after other rooms used the toilet or water, and there was a slight sewer smell, which was a bit bothersome. Also, the shower pressure was a bit weak. I stayed for four nights, and they brought fresh towels whenever requested. I was very happy that cold water was available for free. The water was also quite soft and easy to drink. Sometimes, sparkling wine was available during the day. Check-in is on the ground floor (floor 0). Above that is floor E, where breakfast and welcome drinks are served. The rooms start from the floor above that, beginning with the 1st floor. I stayed on the actual first floor (one level up from the ground floor). The location was excellent. Casa Milà was visible right after exiting the hotel and turning right. If you turn left and walk for 5-10 minutes, you'll see Casa Batlló. Sagrada Familia is about a 20-minute walk, but you can see it getting closer as you approach, which made the walk enjoyable and exciting. For places like La Boqueria Market and Plaça de Catalunya, it's a bit of a walk, so taking the train or bus is recommended! I also took the bus to Park Güell! Additionally, the street where the hotel is located is lined with high-end brands, so it's highly recommended for those who want to shop!

The hotel's location is a huge advantage, being right next to the scenic area, making it easy to get to all the attractions. The breakfast quality is still good; I stayed last year and chose it again this year. However, compared to last year, both the service and cleanliness have declined, with many details not being handled properly. Overall, the convenience for getting around is still there. I hope the hotel can strengthen its management and restore the service and cleanliness standards. I look forward to an improved experience on my next stay.

The location is excellent, right on the most bustling street, with a metro station just outside. Casa Milà is only 50 meters away, and Casa Batlló is 200 meters away. The entire street has many luxury stores, which is great for browsing. The hotel is eco-friendly, using refillable glass bottles, and refilling water in the hallway is very convenient.

The location is superb, right next to Casa Milà, and only about 600 meters from Casa Batlló. You can even refill your pure drinking water using a dedicated glass bottle on your floor. There are many restaurants and snack shops nearby, and the quality is excellent. It's a bit of a walk to the local Mercadona supermarket, and there's also an outdoor gear store in the vicinity. From the rooftop restaurant, you can see the Sagrada Familia.

Facilities: The facilities are brand new and convenient to use. Hygiene: There's a dedicated person cleaning daily, which is simple and quick based on guest needs. Environment: Located in the center of Thanksgiving Avenue, it's convenient for getting around and offers beautiful views from the window. Service: The lobby staff are enthusiastic.

First time in Barcelona and I stayed at the Royal Passeig de Gràcia. The front desk staff were very welcoming during check-in. The room was really comfortable, clean, and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I could see the very top of Sagrada Familia from my room – amazing! The hotel is right in the city center, making shopping incredibly convenient. Casa Milà is just 50 meters to the right when you exit the hotel, and Casa Batlló is about 450 meters to the left, across the street. If you turn left at the first intersection and keep walking for about 20 minutes, you'll reach Sagrada Familia. Plaza Catalunya is also very close... it's just so convenient! I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Barcelona.
