Needs to be much cheaper
Waited ages for check in with bar staff seemingly ignoring me and despite me ringing the bell. No apology when staff finally arrived. Room was comfortable but extremely tired with peeling paint and quite a dirty look.

Room was basic but clean and the bed was comfortable. Fine for a short stay, like mine.
Convenient for the M1.
Food was good. Breakfasts varied. Staff helpful.

Tired rooms
Although the staff are absolutely amazing and can not be faulted at all for the service they provide. The rooms are outdated and tired the price green king charge i would expect more for my money. Extremely disappointed with how tired the rooms are.
Also disappointed with the breakfast as they ran out of pastries quickly.

Great place and good value for money
Perfect for our purposes- stop off on the way back home. Room was good- clean comfortable and easily accesible(away from the main building). Breakfast was fab- lots of choice and really well cooked. Only down side(and a vey minor point) outside tables were a little grubby(just needed a wipe.) Overall a great place and amazing value for money. Would definitely reccomend.

Excellent overnight stay. Our room was much bigger and quieter than expected after reading some reviews. Main area had a comfy double bed with plenty of space around it, bedside units, long dressing table and large tv. There was a big dressing area with clothes storage and then a good size bathroom. Rain shower was centred in the bath so one could move freely under the powerful spray.
We ate in the restaurant and found the meals to be generous, tasty and very good value. Bar prices were also good.

Great value
Very friendly service. I slept well in the room, the bed was comfortable. The room was looking a bit tired but other than that an excellent stay and extremely good value. Breakfast was good with a warm and friendly welcome from the lady serving me.
