Checked in, registered Car Reg Number. Paid for 5 night stay, told at reception car park charges included. A week after returning home got letters demanding. for £300 for parking. Obviously something amiss, not very clear instructions regarding parking. Hope this can be resolved after contacting Hotel Manager.

I was here for one night on a business trip. The hotel reception is very nice with a classical style of decoration. The restaurant is also in the same style and Breakfast is quite nice, though mostly continental (scrambled eggs, ham, jams and bread, croissants). Staff speak enough English to get by, although the woman at the reception was talking about me in Italian to her colleague thinking I didn't understand her, which I found very rude, especially for a supposedly 4 star hotel. Speaking of 4 stars, I'm not sure exactly in which way this hotel is 4 stars or how they even had the nerve to call this a Palace hotel. The keys you get to your room are actual heavy old fashioned keys. The hallways and elevators leading up to the rooms are EXTREMELY dated, with holes in the carpets. The room could use a MAJOR upgrade. Furniture seems like it's been the same since the hotel opened and has the wearing and tearing to prove it, uncomfortable beds and the AC is so old it doesn't work anymore. The toilet seat in my bathroom was broken and came off every time you tried to use the toilet. The room felt very stuffy, as if there was no ventilation. For me the worst part was that walls are PAPER THIN. I barely slept at all because I could hear my neighbors talking to each other (I could hear every single word), and people in the corridors talking, opening and closing doors etc ALL NIGHT. Absolutely unbearable and definitely NOT WORTH staying in this hotel whatsoever. I was very glad I was only there for one night. Stay away!

We got a big an nice room, like an appartement. Very cool with private terrace. It is a practical, a bit old and traditional hotel with a good location. Very good breakfast on a terrace for the few lucky ones with a breathtaking view. To me recommended. Staff OK, no more no less.

We paid for parking in the hotel's garage. We were asked to leave the keys of our rental car directly on the hood (!) of the car with absolutely no security measures in place to prevent anyone from stealing the car with the key. Being a rental car, our lease contract absolutely prohibited this. Next morning, we were woken up by the hotel staff to "move the car immediately because its blocking someone". We had to go back to the garage, move the car ourselves, but there was nobody even leaving and the car wasn't blocking anyone. Overall, the staff in this hotel speaks very little to no english. The walls in the rooms are paper thin, you can hear everything happening in rooms nearby. The air conditioning has a lot to hope for, it doesn't regulate the room temperature enough. For the price of this hotel, the service and the building itself should undergo major improvements.

Old hotel with old and not friendly staff. Parking on site but you have to pay and its not cheep. Old fashion key in very heavr key chian. Rooms are clean. Hotel is in good location. We only spent one night here and next time in Bari we will look for something more modern.

No había mucha variedad.
