The staff at the Imperial were so accommodating from the booking to the stay. We booked in advance but had to change the reservation due to my dog being unwell and I needed to bring him with me for the night. The staff switched us to a pet friendly room with no issues. The room had a blanket and water bowl for my dog which was a lovely touch, along with information on pet friendly beaches in the area.
The staff checked on us during our stay to see if everything was to our liking. I also needed to park near to the room to carry my dog as he’s heavy and they allowed me to park in a space near the accommodation block. Nothing was too much trouble.
The staff in the bar were very friendly and also at reception. The hotel is well situated with great views (although not from our particular room but I wasn’t bothered for one night given we had switched rooms at late notice). The room was clean with great amenities including tea, coffee, biscuits, water, all complimentary. As well as the pet friendly touches.
The only negative I would say was the shower curtain around the bath. A screen would have been better as it didn’t go all the way round the bath so let quite a lot of water out into the floor, and also swung and stuck to you whilst showering. We had to mop the floor with the towels once finished.
We didn’t eat at the hotel so I couldn’t comment on the food but the menu looked really nice.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
