The 3 Horseshoes

Fantastic place to be absolutely amazing

Before Saturday night, this would be a 5 star review. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was good. The rooms are snug but comfortable. However beneath the bedrooms is a party room. Who thought that was a good idea? Saturday night was a birthday party and so we were entertained by bad karaoke until after midnight. They had a great time. Us, not so much. So, before you book, check if the party room has been booked.

Went here for my birthday Sunday lunch, having been here before a few months ago. The food doesn't even resemble how it used to be - Roast beef unable to cut as it was like shoe leather, Raw broccoli and cabbage, Dirty, unpeeled carrots, Just inedible! I have never in my life left a full plate of Sunday dinner, but it was awful. We refused to pay for two of the meals, to which there was no argument and no apology. They knew it was bad. Will never go again. What a lovely birthday !!!

Oh my, £85 for a dirty room that looks nothing like the quaint country look seen in advertisements. Curtains/blind were missing and the only clue they were ever there are the holes in the wall that accommodated the pole, a dirty flannel stuffed in a dirty glass in the bathroom. The shower could do with a good bleaching not that I could use it because the water was only just luke warm even after running it for 5 minutes. The breakfast box consisted of a bottle of orange juice and 3 snacks. The advertisement states that a cooked breakfast could be ordered but the establishment downstairs doesn't offer this now and I couldn't obtain an evening meal because the kitchen closed at 4pm and the bar at 8pm. There is WiFi but nowhere was the password to be found. I could have paid £35 at the Travelodge just up the road, for the same experience but I expect that it had hot water.
