Gaia Hotel Basel - the Sustainable 4 Star Hotel Reviews

What did we like most? Hummmm EVERYTHING. Staff was great, Room was great, Breakfast was amazing. We absolutely loved this hotel and our stay. Located basically right across the street from the train station and within walking distance of old town. If you are in Basel this place is the place to stay.

Brilliant staff, they all are friendly, polite and they proactively know our needs and offer help to us. The breakfast is yummy, the bread and butter is so good with many choices. Will go there again for certain!!!

We also had the best breakfast in Gaia beautiful breakfast room. Must must book your rooms with breakfast . Highly recommeded Gaia Hotel to everyone.

**Wonderful Stay at Gaia Hotel Basel!** We had an excellent stay at Gaia Hotel Basel. The hotel's commitment to sustainability was impressive and evident in every detail. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful eco-friendly touches. We loved the delicious breakfast with organic and locally sourced options, and the convenient location near the train station made exploring Basel easy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Gaia Hotel Basel perfectly combines comfort, sustainability, and great service. We highly recommend it and would happily stay again on our next visit to Basel!

Superb location near the train station and walkable to old town area. Excellent bedroom and bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Would stay there again. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff; I was able to check into my room earlier than planned. The room had everything I needed for a short stay.

The hotel is located right next to the SBB station, making transportation within and outside Basel very convenient. There's a large supermarket right next door and in the station's basement. Unlike other European cities, the area around the station is relatively safe, so it's not dangerous. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are comfortable, and the famous breakfast restaurant is beautiful. The breakfast food is good, but the selection isn't extensive. The interior is classic, but not outdated! It's clean, stylish, and friendly. I would definitely return!

The front desk is very friendly and there is no problem if you don’t understand the language. (gesturing) Check-in will give you a coupon for the Basel area. Next to the coop supermarket and bus station, it is also very close to the train station! The bed was very comfortable, I had a good night's sleep, and the bathroom was very clean. Breakfast is also delicious! There is also a very lively Christmas market in Basel. If you use coupons, transportation will be free~~ There are also coupons for the barbecue downstairs.

Great experience, unexpected breakfast and very nice dining environment, mostly Europeans. Very convenient. Patrick, the manager at the front desk, is very friendly.

Very good hotel, good breakfast, good service. I like this old-fashioned European style hotel. Swiss hotel management is indeed the best in the world. Worth recommending

Good location, economical option
