Grand Mercure Batam Centre

It’s a very clean and neat hotel, with good spread of local, Japanese and western selections over breakfast. Booked 04 for myself and my guests, a short business trip. Only a bit of hiccups over the room services, due to consistent of standard “supplies” inside room’s coffee bar. called front desk twice after 30 minutes to make request, and in the end have to down to front desk to make request personally.

It was a new hotel, everything looks new. However, the temperature of the water fluctuates. The swimming pool was nice but small. Breakfast doesn't have much selection.

Requested for a higher floor away from the bar but got a room on the 6th floor, just right above the bar on the 3rd floor. Rooms are not sound proof so we could hear the bar playing music till midnight plus we can hear sounds from the other room when walking in the corridor. On our last day we decided to have the hotel breakfast and the live meat grilling station started producing a lot of smoke, making the entire hotel lobby choked up with smoke due to poor ventilation. Had to shift outdoors to continue our meal. Location is also far from most attractions but it was not much of a problem since grab rides are easily available an affordable.

Everything is good. All staff are friendly, good in service. They provide a swim ring for my kids, really sweet! Will come back again!

Staying here feels comfortable, modern, and welcoming. It’s especially suited for business travelers, families, and anyone arriving via ferry. If nightlife and shopping are priorities, you may prefer Nagoya Hills, but for convenience and upscale service, Grand Mercure Batam Centre is a strong choice.

New hotel (＜1year). Generally a good stay. Satisfactory. Room - nice cool air con. Big bed. Very pleasant room…but lousy view.. construction next building. Location - easy grab everywhere. Good if one is headed to batam centre ferry terminal. But definitely not as lively as nagoya hills area. Gotta grab eeveryhwere.

Stayed here with my mum. Absolutely loved my stay! The Hotel is clean, smells good, the beds are big and comfy, the toilet was small but the shower pressure was power!! The breakfast was great too! Had different variety for the 3 days I stayed! Location is great too! Walking distance to One Batam Mall and abt 10-15 mins grab ride to all the other malls. Will definitely come back here for my next batam trip!

Friendly hotel receptionist & very accommodating and helpful. Toddler love the kids club and the pool area. There's lounging area in the pool too. Kids club requires one adult to be accompanying young child. Gym are well maintained and equipped as well. Rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable.
