GGuest UserI thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Chestnuts Boutique B&B! I was able to park up my car at the front of the establishment and walk around Bath for the rest of my visit! Attractions and places of interest were around a 15 minute walk away- which is fantastic! The host was so helpful and attentive. My room was clean and comfortable! I had access to plenty of wardrobe space,a TV with Netflix, a fridge, kettle and a well stocked box of tea treats (& fresh cakes too!) Breakfast was gorgeous and fresh. There were plenty of local leaflets available to read about local events and attractions too. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserThis is a truely super hotel! We were there to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was a delight from start to finish. The building itself is of course elegant and historic and has been complemented by the interir decoration which is bright and warm. The staff were professional, kind and friendly and at all times provided an excellent service. We felt that everyone was keen for us to have the best possible time at the hotel which lead to a nice positive and relaxing experience. On top of this our room was stunning and the food first class , so all in all we were extremely happy!!

GGuest UserI would like to thank the staff for everything they had done for me and my wife after I mad a awful mistake that is to embarrassing to go into ... all I can say is they literally made sure I was not going to be let down and time ruined by going above and beyond anything they needed to do to make my stay a beautiful one after my error ......the food was lovely and also everything was as it was in the pictures if not better something to see for yourself should you go ahead and book a stay .......

GGuest UserThe hotel is an incredible building which must take some maintenance. We booked a double room for one night and arrived at lunchtime with the intention of sightseeing in bath for a couple of days. The hotel was happy for us to park all day both days which was great. The check in process (after 3pm) was very easy and we had a very clean room with plenty of towels, 2 robes and slippers for the spa/pool. The double room had a king size bed which was very comfortable. The hotel pool was crowded and looking a little tired but was as expected. The outside heated pool was very nice and relaxing. We didn’t have any spa treatments or use the gym but both looked well kept and the gym had good modern equipment. We didn’t eat in the restaurant preferring to find a restaurant in bath itself. Breakfast was a bit of a chaotic affair with several hotel staff doing various jobs with no apparent coordination. The wait for a table, then coffee was long and then we had to wait again to order breakfast. The whole process of breakfast took well over an hour which is poor. It was clear that there was no clear process as some tables were getting their cooked breakfast before us even though we were taken to our table 30 mins before them. The little waiter man with his paper pad was a bit useless. When the ‘full English’ breakfast came it was a small plate of well cooked food but not really as described in the menu. In terms of portion size it was more like a kids breakfast. We weren’t served any toast either and had to ask for it unlike other tables who received it with their drinks order which seemed a bit weird. The continental buffet was a bit scarce with no bowls or spoons so we had to use our fruit juice glasses for the yogurt and fruit. The whole thing could be improved with a breakfast buffet under a hot plate if they haven’t got enough staff to serve it.

GGuest UserThe place was extremely cozy and pretty too. Had little expectations when booking a guesthouse, but the place exceeded my expectations. The location was convenient too, to hangout at Bath. The bed was cozy. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Loved the stay overall and would definitely visit them again if I come back to Bath.

GGuest UserThe location is not very convenient and not sure why but the buses that stop in front of the hostel do not show on either google map or apple map so I only found out there there were direct buses after arriving the hostel. However, instead of taking buses, I highly recommend walking to the city centre as you will walk through an amazing field of grassland. The room is very spacious, cozy, and quiet. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserAn absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is set right by the river and old mill, which makes for stunning views from morning to evening. Waking up to the sound of the flowing water and looking out at the scenery was such a peaceful experience. The service was excellent – staff were attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make everything comfortable. The combination of beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality made this one of the most memorable stays I’ve had. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserBest Western Limpley Stoke Hotel is located outside of Bath centre, therefore it is quiet and peaceful. The hotel has a bar and restaurant for guests who just want to have a relax time in the hotel.
