La Ferringhi Villa by BRB

Easy check-in, clean room, but the sheets had some unwashed stains. They promptly changed them after I reported it, so the service was quick. The hotel is located where you can take a small path to the beach during the day, and there's a fire dance show on the beach at night. I wouldn't recommend taking that small path at night; walking along the main road is a bit far. There's an Indian mama's breakfast and dinner place about a 2-minute walk down from the hotel, which is very unique and has amazing paratha. The environment there is simple and clean.

This was the worst guesthouse I've ever stayed at in Penang. Firstly, the location is incredibly inconvenient, with absolutely no activities or facilities nearby. Secondly, the guesthouse offers no service whatsoever. From the moment I checked in, I couldn't find any staff to assist me. I waited for over half an hour before some unknown staff member finally appeared to help me get the key. It was impossible to contact the guesthouse manager under any circumstances. Thirdly, the room was basically empty. Even the toilet paper was of the lowest quality, there was no TV, and the room wasn't clean. The most terrifying part was waking up to a huge cockroach in the room. Fourthly, when checking out, I tried to ask how to return the key for a long time, but no one ever replied. Seriously, never stay at this guesthouse again.

Beautiful, clean villa with a convenient location. Monkeys roam around nearby! We'll be back again.

It's a bit of a drive from Batu Ferringhi, so having a car is convenient; walking would be a bit far. The room is comfortably spacious and quite clean and pleasant.

Very spacious, bright, and clean. I would definitely rent it again next time. Great!
