Great location by the beach, however the traffic of getting out to the town is bad especially on a weekend evening.

Quite disappointed for the check-in but maybe due to the late check-out of the previous customer, it took us one hour to completely check-in for three room. But the staff are quite friendly, it’s suitable for those who like beach there’s direct access to the beach. Appreciate they give us link room for family stay

Pros: -good selection of buffet, their roti prata with so many delicious choices of curries and kurmas. -local kuih kuih, middle Eastern, noodles station.,egg station, western cuisine, nasi lemak, Chinese cuisine for breakfast. All have taste. Not bland like some hotels I have been. -menu seems to rotate in 3 days cycle. -well manicured garden -attentive and friendly staff from the concierge to the room service, even the guys doing renovations there so friendly and cheerful. -direct connection to beach but it's not private beach to Park royal only. -easy to get grab to move around to city. -nightmarket selling clothes and souvenirs outside the hotel but closed on Wednesday. -many stalls and restaurants within walking distance around the hotel. But do read the reviews b4 eating there. Cons: - some of their fixings were mouldy like the lamps and chair cushions. -housekeeping can be better. Some day even the cups not cleaned properly. -their room coffee and tea was kept inside the cupboard, so not very convenient. There should be table for it with proper power plugs for the hot water boiler. -should have installed cooling mist in the garden area to cool the ambiance abit and for the comfor of the guest. -should have authentic teh tarik for breakfast . Such a pity they only have 3in1 tea. Teh tarik is Msia speciality. We really enjoyed kopi tarik and teh tarik at Westin Desaru hotel breakfast.

Good thing about this hotel: It is a beach front hotel, with beautiful beach view and a place to see beautiful sunset. There are lots of arm chairs around and u can just enjoy the beach even at night. There is a mini bar just right infront of the beach, so u can order a cup of drink and enjoy the serenity of the beach. I also enjoy the breakfast, there is a wide spread of selection. Also the location is good, there are many local hawker centres and restaurants. Bad thing: The hotel is under renovation now, u will hear the drilling sound all day, until 5pm.. if u want to sleep in the hotel during day time, it is nearly impossible.. the noise is irritating. The renovation will only be done by August 2024.

The interior room specifications is not like 5 stars hotel specs. The tv inside our room is not clear ..

Room is clean Swimming water is warm , very considerate Food is nice Staffs are very friendly Lobby common area board game is great Suggestion : prepare a beach basket and slippers in the room since it is a beach hotel Overall v r very satisfied with our stay

-Relaxing place -Nice breakfast -location-a bit far from town, but u can enjoy the hotel facilities and enjoy the beach side view

Decent environment and great service. However, need improvement on the check in process.
