Hotel El Imperio Punta Cana

Expect of what you literally paid for…. The breakfast is very simple. Room was not too clean, I was surprised seeing a box of condom inside the cabinet. So no one is doing deep cleaning for sure!

Hotel El Imperio Punta Cana did not have hot water for 2 days. The third day did not have wifi service. No elevator for 2nd floor. The room #201 feel neglected as ceiling & wall has molds. No toilet tissue holder, no towel ring, no towel bar, nothing for hanging towels or clothes in bathroom with tissue sitting on toilet tank. No face towels. No cups or glasses. No intercom not to mention phone in the room to call Reception. No shower curtain or door for shower, water splash all over as my husband relevantly took cold water shower. But I could not bath & wash hair with cold water!! OMG they gave me hot water in mopping floor buckets with dirty stuff in the water for me to shower!! Imagine hot days outings back to hotel after 8pm, no hot water wash hair & shower! NOT acceptable to pay for 3 nights. Bathroom exhausted fans sounds like thunderstorm. Not 3 stars hotel as claimed. No fridge we can still reluctantly accept for hot place Punta Cana. But OMG none of the receptionists or servers speak English. Only acceptable thing is homemade breakfast which we tip the chef.
