Checked in an hour early, the front desk reception was warm! The location is very central and convenient to everywhere! Parking 🅿️ is in the nearby P7 parking lot, very close!

賓館地理位置非常便利，出門就是購物街，飯店也在周邊，到主要景點衹需步行。但房間很小，設施過於簡陋，連一次性杯子和燒水壺都沒有。晚上睡覺，外面比較吵。停車需要到附近公共停車場，一天12歐。自助早餐不是很豐富。

It is difficult to find a nice hotel in Bayreuth during the opera festival. This hotel charges almost 2 x its usual rates at that time but it remains a basic hotel. The reviews in English are fine but if you can read the reviews in German, a majority of them are quite bad and I would agree with them, which better reflect what to expect. Despite busy times, the reception is usually empty and there is no access to a duty manager. When present for check in early afternoon, the front desk is rude (and there is an extra 15 eur for check in at 2 pm). In addition, I raised a few points to B&B customer service after my return and the experience was not satisfactory - such level of hostility I have never experienced. This will be one of my rare negative reviews on this website. Very disappointing.

friendly service and an efficient layout.... make your stay good, ok, modern. We enjoyed the help of the front desk but after a day or two went our won ways. The AC was quite good, too. We skipped breakfast and went down 100m the road to cafe Florian for a bavarian style breakfast, enjoyable.

The room already cost €200, which is very expensive for a hotel of this category. I knew that when I booked. When we arrived at 1:35 p.m., our room was ready. We were then asked to pay an extra €15 to move into the room because we had arrived too early. That's a bad joke and we've never experienced anything like it. The room wasn't prepared specially for us. Never again with a hotel of this group. When you arrive, you are asked to pay extra without any significant reason.

Checking in at the machine in the evening was no problem. The room was very clean, the furnishings were simple but stylish and well thought out. The beds were very comfortable. The amenities were complete. The bunk beds were large; they weren't children's beds, great for our older children. Best value for money! Central location. Check-out at 12:00 was accommodating. Customer friendly. Overall, we really liked it and we'll definitely come back.

Room so-so okay (view of the inner courtyard, no curtains). Location in the center excellent. That's it, breakfast poor, impossible to queue on a Saturday. As we didn't have time we couldn't have breakfast. Our request for a refund of the money we paid in advance was refused. The receptionist was very unfriendly. We could come back later, it wasn't his problem. When I pointed out that we would rate it, he said - the hotel can cope with it, there are enough guests. This can't be happening. We'll never go to B&B again.

The location is really central in the old town of Bayreuth and not too far from the train station. The room and bathroom are small, as in every B&B, but well thought out and functional - I like that. The breakfast isn't special, but it is sufficient. What bothered me a lot was that there was absolutely no fresh fruit and they just said "we have to go and buy that", which never happened. The room cleaning was a bit superficial. When I put the two towels down to be changed, we were given a hand towel and a bath towel. I had to ask for a spare roll of toilet paper. There was rubbish behind the door at the entrance to reception for days...

Hotel located in the pedestrian zone of Wagnerstrasse. P7 parking nearby, with reduction on the parking ticket at reception. Simple rooms with every comfort. Staff only speaking German or English. Fairly simple breakfast buffet. But fortunately, there is a confectionery bakery next door

Happy to stay here again, the price/performance ratio is unbeatable, the hotel is quite centrally located, still good parking in the nearby parking garage or in the adjacent streets at night without a parking ticket. Richard Wagner House (Villa Wahnfried) is a short walk away (approx. 3 minutes), as is the market square (approx. 5 minutes). Still very clean even years after opening, the Corona rules are adhered to and there is now an air filter in every room (see picture). Otherwise all the staff are still friendly, easy check-in and check-out. Send vaccination certificate by email before arrival and you can check in as usual with code for entrance and room number even after the reduced reception hours due to Corona reasons, totally easy! Since I have already left a review earlier, here is just an update. Next door (or on the ground floor of the hotel building) a well-known bakery has opened a branch with a café as an alternative to the hotel breakfast. Here you can start the day very well with fresh baked goods or a prepared breakfast and ready-made or freshly made sandwiches (also open on Sundays).
