"Location: Very close to the subway, about a 15-minute walk to both King's Cross Station and Farringdon Station. Dining options are also conveniently located in both directions.
Facilities: The room was much smaller than I expected. I don't have a good grasp of room sizes, so even seeing the numbers didn't give me a clear idea. The only truly uncomfortable part was that when I booked on Ctrip, I specifically looked for rooms with a bathtub and booked a room type that was supposed to have one. However, when I arrived, I found that some rooms of that type didn't have a bathtub. After discussing it with the front desk, they explained that I hadn't explicitly stated in my booking that I needed a room with a bathtub, which is why I didn't get one. Adding to this, the front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping staff were all Indian, and I personally don't have a good impression of Indian people, so this really soured my overall opinion of the hotel. Their solution was for me to come back the next day at noon to 'try' and change rooms, as they weren't sure if a room with a bathtub would be available. As a tourist with a full 6-day itinerary, it's impossible for me to return to the hotel at 12 PM on any day to change rooms, so nothing came of it. Also, the hotel doesn't provide international power adapters. If you're traveling as a family of three, I recommend bringing two adapters.
Cleanliness: Standard for a normal hotel. There were still leftover snack crumbs from previous guests on the power outlets in the room.
Service: I didn't have any service requests.
Overall, the hotel is just acceptable, meeting the minimum standards for a family travel accommodation. The surrounding area is also quite convenient; there are plenty of dining and drinking options if you turn right out of the hotel and walk past two traffic lights. For football fans, both Arsenal and Tottenham's home stadiums are nearby, just two stops in different directions. However, if I were to bring my family on a trip again, I would not choose this hotel."
