"The hotel's location is great, right by the beach, and there are pools both in front of the restaurant and inside the hotel. However, the overall value for money isn't great. My parents and kids had been feeling unwell for the past two days on Nusa Penida due to the change of environment, and we wanted to negotiate canceling the hotel. Trip.com informed us that the hotel wouldn't agree, and cancellation would incur a 50% charge, so we had no choice but to push through despite feeling ill. Upon arrival, we were a bit disappointed. The room was old and dated, and the humidity was high; lying on the bed, it always felt damp and sticky. There were mosquitoes at night, and when we asked the front desk for an electric mosquito repellent, they said they didn't have one and sent up a can of insecticide instead 😂. The two hotels we stayed at before, even the ones costing around 100 RMB a night, always had electric mosquito repellents placed in each room beforehand. Don't be surprised if you find insect carcasses on the floor in the room, and there were lots of small flying insects too. Additionally, the breakfast variety was a bit limited; after staying for a few days, we didn't even want to eat it anymore. Surprisingly, the curry congee on the last day was quite good."

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed with their kindness, professionalism, and warm smiles. The service was outstanding in every detail. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent, and the whole hotel had a clean, relaxing atmosphere. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had such peaceful sleep every night. The breakfast was easily 10/10 😍 Great variety, fresh food every day, delicious options for both adults and children, and everything was presented beautifully. Even the coffee and juices were excellent. The pool area was amazing ,clean, relaxing, and perfect for families. The hotel is also very family-friendly overall, with such a safe and comfortable environment for children. The staff were incredibly sweet and caring with kids, which made the experience even better for our family. The location is also perfect: close to everything in Kuta while still feeling peaceful and quiet inside the hotel. Honestly, compared to other hotels in the same price range around the area, Bintang Kuta deserves a true 10/10 Outstanding rating. It genuinely feels like a much more expensive hotel because of the quality of service, cleanliness, comfort, and attention to detail. You can clearly feel that the management and staff truly care about the guests and work with passion and professionalism. We would absolutely stay here again without hesitation 🌟"

"This hotel has many regular guests from all over the world. They have made some attempts to update the hotel. However, the shower head is mounted far too high on the shower wall (before it was too low) and the hose needs to be handheld which makes washing one’s hair difficult. The TV was also on the blink. I would also appreciate a hand towel or a box of tissues, too. I suppose lacking many basic items adds to the rustic charm and appeal of the hotel. Currently the beach is under construction nearby. The price of the breakfast has risen since last year, but it is acceptable."

"The hotel itself is very good. It has a large and beautiful pool (open until dark), a lush green area, and excellent, varied breakfasts. It's located close to supermarkets and not far from Icon Mall. The pathways are paved, and there are cafes and souvenir shops nearby. But… There's no proper door for the bathroom; instead, there are semi-transparent doors for the toilet and shower. Essentially, even to change clothes, you have to hide in the toilet, which is inconvenient. There was a small sofa for the child, but no bedding or towels. We asked for them, and they were brought after a second request. Two staff members came and made the bed with four hands, even though we could have done it ourselves. The pool seemed clean, but the water appeared cloudy with an oily film on the surface, perhaps from sunscreen? It was like that in the evening and hadn't changed by the morning. There's a private beach area with sun loungers, and towels are provided for both the beach and the pool. Overall, the impression is very good, and we would return here if we knew the sea wasn't always so shallow. It was quite difficult to swim. The staff is very customer-oriented. They are accommodating and allow guests to store their luggage. Generally, hotel staff in Bali are friendly and diligent."

"I had a wonderful stay here. The location is excellent — close to the airport, the beach, and shopping centers. The service was top-notch. That said, the breakfast buffet wasn't for me; I didn't find much on offer that suited my taste. I also stayed two nights and ran into a bit of a crowd late at night on the ground floor — other guests were having a party, drinking and shouting. Overall, it's a good pick."

"Absolutely amazing!! Thats the shortest way i can explain how my stay here has been! This is me and my sister first time in bali and we chose to stay in Uluwatu aswe heard it is very scenic and we stumble upon this resort and what a stroke of luck this was! 1. Location 10/10 It is located near the cliff of the Suluban beach and the stairs to go down to the beach is literally right beside the resort so for those who are looking into surfing or visiting the Suluban beach this might be a good choice for you. It is also nearby the market whre you can buy local souvenir and also near many restaurant as well as the temple whre they have the Kecak Dance. But the cherry on top has to be view. The resort is absolutely stunning and anywhere you look is amazing. During our stay there is a big crane as they did state that they would be constructiom going but thankfully it was not really progressing during our stay so no noise complaint. There is tons of monkey tho and a group did try to get into our room which is actually a funny incident, u just have to make sure u close the sliding door at all times when the monkey is around. 2. Service The service is absolutely amazing all the staff takes very well care of us and manager constantly talks to the guest to ensure comfortable stay! You also get a complimentary 15 minute massage which i find relaxing after whole day of walking. The breakfast was good to me, there was not much choice but what they did seeve all tasted very good and fresh. 3.Cleanliness Our room was very clean and well taken care of. We slept very comfortably and did not experience any discomfort. All aspect of the resort is also very well kept so strolling around the resort in the morning is very very nice especially since its at a cliff so you will hear the wave sounds and I would reccomend going to their massage building area which is very beautiful All in all would definitely visit this place again if I ever visit Uluwatu again🌺🌺"

"For what you pay for, this place is a GEM! The windows in the room are a little inconvenient but they do add to the ambience. The rooms are spacious and the location is great for cycling and adventure. I enjoyed breakfast, especially as it was made with love. The resort is right on the beach. the location is wonderful for families that want to get away from the city and want something more rustic."

"Very nice hotel , a bit far from centre Bali but perfect for relaxing , breakfast was ok not very good but acceptable , room was nice and clean , do not recommend to book a suite with private pool because there are so many insects ( Tecos ) all over the pool so did not feel like swimming ."

"The service should be improve. pls give same treatment towards asian especially when manage and carry bags. everybody paid so pls improve ur attitude towrds everyone. be fair and train ur staff to be more polite towards asian especially local tourist & muslim tourist. same issue with ur Tanis Fast Boat service. Its bad and risk passengers life. Do check ur boat regularly & if possible check everyday to make sure everything works well & have enough oil&gases. Trains ur staff to treat everyone the same & make sure everything legals on ur fast boat business. Tanis Fast Boat service got a lot of complain so please improve."
