"I had a pleasant stay at Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although adding more local dishes would make it even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers."

"Has a private beach. The facilities are great; you can rent paddleboards and life jackets. There are also lifeguards on duty. It's a bit remote with no nearby dining options, but you can order takeout. The hotel itself has three restaurants."

"The room decor feels quite dated, with the bathroom and various furnishings showing their age and a slight musty smell. The air conditioning automatically turns off when the balcony door is opened. The external environment is relatively good, with a park and a beach available. The pool is also well-designed, helping to distribute people. There's a 'naughty bag' (play area) suitable for different age groups of children, which requires a fee, though hotel guests receive a discounted rate. Breakfast gets very crowded, so expect to queue. Overall, it's suitable for a family vacation. However, if you have high expectations for the accommodation experience, you might want to choose a newer hotel."

"We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special. Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!"

"The best stay we had was at this resort in Cebu,we booked a villa and it was absolutely amazing experience. We had private room for our breakfast and had special cocktail and canapes which was amazing .The restaurant food was also so good.The in room breakfast Setup was done well ,all services in the villa was excellent . Resort is beautiful and very peaceful aswell.The spa treatment was excellent. Service for drop of to the airport was so convenient aswell. The staff are so lovely, friendly and so helpful.This place is a dream will definitely would love to come back and stay again."

"It needs a little bit of walk before reaching the main road, but it’s not that far probably 3-5mins depending on your speed. The room is very spacious! Even the cr, spacious! The staff - all accommodating! There is hair blower, mini ref, toilet bidet, water heater for coffee. Loved the stay"

"They have a Michelin star. It's one of the best quiet hotels, and the pool is the largest in Cebu. There's a beach. Jet ski rental is 6200 pesos per hour. You can swim in the sea, but sometimes there's low tide and very little water. They don't let you go far out. This option is for those who love pools. There are several restaurants. The service is pleasant, and the prices match the hotel's caliber. The interior is decent. You can tell some things could be tweaked, but overall it's excellent. Security is good. The lifts all work. The staff are friendly. We stayed for three days. We met one Russian, 15 Chinese, and a couple of Europeans. Thanks for the wonderful time."

"Top tier customer service. All staff we met are very respectful and courteous - and you can sense their genuineness. Smooth check-in/out process. Resort is beautiful! I'm still adjusting (the thought) with the condo-type styled rooms - i feel like being in an airbnb in makati for a work trip, rather than a vacation in a hotel. Also, thank you for giving my dad birthday treats!"

"My boyfriend and I, Koreans, stayed here for two nights! When we first arrived at the lobby and checked in, they helped us with our luggage, offered welcome drinks, and mentioned a 3,000 peso deposit. It's an old building, so it's a bit dated, but it's a beautiful hotel with an antique and tranquil atmosphere. The location might be difficult to reach on foot if you don't use a Grab taxi. However, because it's a bit secluded, it's great for a quiet, relaxing getaway. The private beach and pool were conveniently close, and there were several paid activities available at the sea. I booked a boating tour, and from morning to afternoon (you can buy a packed lunch from the hotel or choose a service that includes a meal), we went by boat to snorkeling spots to swim and play. The downsides were that the room lacked bathrobes, room slippers, and body wash. The air conditioner was old, so it was noisy, and there was an unavoidable musty smell. Also, Grab delivery wasn't available, so we had to eat food we bought from convenience stores! The advantages are the hotel's private and quiet location, plus the excellent staff service. There were only two designated smoking areas, which created a clean environment without indiscriminate smoking, which I appreciated. They provided beach towels when using the pool, which was very helpful. While the hotel breakfast wasn't as varied as I expected, it was enough to start the day feeling full. It wasn't luxurious, but it had all the basics: noodles, bread, fruit, meat, soup, etc. The kimchi was a bit shocking – it was cabbage mixed with gochujang, which was truly surprising. Facilities include a gym, an internal bar, and more. Even though the room condition wasn't perfectly ideal, it was a hotel where the facilities were worth using, taking that into account."

"Location wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean. We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast."
