Find Beach resorts in Bangkok

"This was my second stay here, this time on the 45th floor. The room was still good, but my previous stay was in a higher-tier room with a floor-to-ceiling window and a higher floor, which was naturally more comfortable. I'd recommend booking as early as possible to get a better room type for roughly the same price. The air conditioning temperature couldn't be adjusted, and it was a bit too cold at night, so if you're sensitive to cold, bring extra long-sleeved clothing. The great thing about staying here is the opportunity to enjoy the changing light throughout the day and night, and to go up to the free 360-degree rotating observation deck to overlook the entire Bangkok – it's fantastic for photos. However, if you want to take pictures with people in them, using the restaurant's balcony during breakfast (which is paid) provides better photo opportunities. You can also move between different balconies to get a 360-degree view of Bangkok. While the breakfast itself is just average, the unparalleled view is, in my opinion, well worth it! I usually arrange this as my last hotel stop before returning home because the Pratunam area is convenient for buying souvenirs, and I feel secure leaving my luggage here. Taking the A3 bus to Don Mueang Airport is also convenient and quick. However, be aware that this time when I waited for the A3 at the bus stop at the alley entrance, I was misled by the ”A3, No Service” message on the bus stop sign, thinking it meant the service was suspended. In fact, it runs approximately once an hour, so it likely meant the electronic display couldn't read the schedule information. Checking bus times on Google Maps is more reliable. If you're going to Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Airport Rail Link City Line is equally convenient. Regarding souvenirs or personal items, if you need pain relief cream, I found that 'Tai Ru Yi' inside The Market Bangkok was much cheaper than Big C next door (Counterpain Hot 120g, 135 baht; Cool 120g, 144 baht). Bio Treatment hair mask sachets were 8 baht, and the red label 3-in-1 milk tea packs were 45 baht for 100g (180 baht for 500g, but this 500g pack wasn't the cheapest – I saw the cheapest at the red label milk tea branch in the basement of Robinson Department Store near BTS S6 station, 165 baht for 500g (50 baht for 100g))."

"The hotel is in a good location, close to both the BTS and metro stations, as well as Lumpini Park, the night market, and Silom Street with its bars. I chose the hotel because of the rooftop bar and pool , but unfortunately, during my stay, were closed and will remain they were closed, but no one notified me about this in advance, and the hotel card also does not indicate that these places are temporarily closed (this is not a couple of days, the pool and bar are closed from July 20 to September 9), but unfortunately, which was very disappointing. There's construction going on next to the hotel, which makes it noisy, but overall, the hotel meets the price/quality criteria."

"The location is a bit out of the way, but it's a quick taxi ride to Chulalongkorn University. They upgraded me to a higher floor for my birthday, which was nice, and they even provided a birthday cake – very thoughtful! The hotel bed was super comfortable and the room was spacious; I had a very pleasant stay. It's also very convenient to catch a taxi right outside. The pool is also large!"

"I had an absolutely wonderful stay in the suite at Sala Rattanakosin. The location is truly unbeatable, with breathtaking views of Wat Arun and the Chao Phraya River. Waking up to such a beautiful view was an unforgettable experience. The suite was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable stay in Bangkok. The atmosphere was peaceful and romantic, while still being close to the city’s most beautiful cultural landmarks. The breakfast was absolutely excellent. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was also exceptional—warm, attentive, and professional. Every aspect of the breakfast experience felt special and added to the enjoyment of my stay. The staff were incredibly warm, friendly, attentive, and professional, making me feel genuinely welcomed throughout my stay. The service was exceptional, and every interaction with the team added to the overall experience. What made my stay especially memorable was the spectacular view of Wat Arun, particularly at sunset and when the temple lights up in the evening. It is a view I will never forget. Overall, Sala Rattanakosin is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay in Bangkok. I thoroughly enjoyed my suite and would happily return."

"This hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 15-minute walk from Wat Saket (Golden Mount). The Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaeo (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), and Wat Pho are only a few minutes away by motor-taxi. Being right next to the Chao Phraya River, you can also take a boat to Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). The hotel's facilities are great; the wet and dry areas in the bathroom are well-separated. The bed in the room is very comfortable, and there are power outlets conveniently located by the bed for charging. The room itself has a very stylish design, with a view of the pool from the room, yet you can't see into the rooms from the pool. The swimming pool downstairs is also quite nice and perfect for tourists."

"Everything was great especially for the price point! No complains at all! Everything was clean and the food from the restaurant was also great! The front desk was also very friendly and helpful! I would book here again if I’m back! My friend slept really soundly!"

"Facilities: The facilities were excellent, everything you could need was there, and at just over 200 a night, it was a great deal. Hygiene: Very good. The cleaning staff came every day. If you didn't want the room cleaned, you could hang a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, and they'd leave water, tissues, and towels outside without entering. Environment: It was very clean and nice. Perfect for two people, with enough space for two suitcases. Service: The front desk lady was absolutely wonderful and spoke excellent Chinese! That was a complete surprise. I slept really well all 5 nights I stayed here. The service was fantastic, and I was very satisfied with everything. The only minor issue was a slight smell from the bathroom drain, but it wasn't noticeable with the door closed, so it didn't bother me much. I'd definitely book this hotel again if I return."

"Located in a small alley in Sathorn. Getting out during peak hours can be quite a challenge due to heavy traffic, but it's very convenient for dining and other amenities, as it's in a bustling area."

"I loved our stay here. The hotel is about 10mins away (by foot) from the Asok BTS. It is clean, huge, and comfortable. They have everything you need from washing machine with dryer, iron and ironing board, plates and glasses, etc. Bed is super comfy. The view from the 40th flr is breath taking. I will book this hotel again should we get back."

"I really liked FX Metrolink Makkasan! It is located very near Makkasan station, I did not need to worry about getting to the BTS for train to the airport. I booked FX Metrolink Makkasan because it was affordable for one person and I was here for Siam Songkran, the hotel is quite close to the venue. The hotel room was very well-equipped with all the basic necessities for your stay. I was half expecting air conditioning to be not enough but it was very good. I only had one day that my bins were not cleared but other than that I really enjoyed my stay in the hotel. It is very easy for Grab riders to miss their turn."
