Great stay with delicious food at their restaurant.

Must highlight it is the first Guest house B&B that we have found that the bedding was of top quality, bathroom taps were polished and shinny and most importantly, the shower heads were fully operational. The maintenance in the rooms was kept to ha igh standard, well done. The food was 5-star, the kitchen staff and reception were a breeze, and I can recommend the Herehuis to anyone before considering any other place look at this place it is really good and weel maintained and people that respect guests.

The breakfast and service were terrible for the price. It was a big disappointment. Had to ask for things and that was not done very pleasantly and with pride. Did not feel welcome and happy.

Die Herehuis used to be very good, but their service has gone down. During our visit in December 2025 the service was not great. They had no WiFi and when we complained it took an hour for them to tell us, sorry the WiFi is off. Nothing offered to compensate for the inconvenience, although we specifically booked a place with WiFi for our teenage girls. The morning before we left I wanted to shave, but the room we were in had no warm water. They need to sort out their WiFi issues, upgrade their TV option from outdated DSTv to Netflix (like most modern guesthouses these days have) and bring their customer service back to what it was before.

Slept there many times, will always go back. Friendly and helpful staff, lekker braai area and the swimming pool in the summer is a winner.

Comfortable and had all one needed for a night on the highway. Comfortable - clean and central with a shared kitchen area and pool.

We overnight on our way to Cape Town Overall experience was good. Food was not good and very expensive.
