The Bull and Townhouse, Beaumaris- the Inn Collection Group

We stopped in for an evening meals Midweek and were absolutely not disappointed. We both had the pan fried chicken breast in mead sauce, amazing just doesn't cover it! I don't think I can remember a better meal! Staff were friendly and service was good. 10/10 Will definitely return when in Anglesey again.

On arrival disappointed only one room on ground floor thought it was to be both. My wife who has heart trouble and myself visually impaired had to go up 16 steps. We had to clean off all shelves very dusty and lamps in fairness when showed dirty tissue to staff offered free drink. Evening meal we had to complain none of us ate the chips again staff were good offering free deserts. Breakfast was good but on second morning service was slow. Due to illness we had to leave a day early whilst appreciating hotel have no obligation under the circumstances felt it would have been nice to offer a small refund. Staff were excellent and friendly but for the cost it was definately not worth it. Did suggest stairs needed a handrail on other side as you couldnt hold on all way up steep stairs.

We called in for a daytime beverage whilst familiarising ourselves with Beaumaris and the service we received from the team influenced us to return for my ‘birthday meal’ ☺️… the environment was lovely the food was great and service exceptional… thank you guys for making my birthday trip to Anglesey memorable x

I should have run away when I tried to work with the Reservations team and they were slow or non responsive, snippy, and unhelpful. In trying to check in, we find that the "front desk" is a busy bar, and the Reservations "staff" is a food server. I booked this hotel because it has a king bed; we were given a queen even after I sent a reminder to the (unresponsive) Reservations team; they tell us NOW that they consider a queen to be a king. Huh? We have just stayed in 4 other hotels across the UK where "king" meant "king." Could you have told me this? Maybe your front desk staff was too busy serving fish and chips? I should have known better. RUN AWAY.

The Hotel was perfect for the trip we planned. 9 of us! Great location and really good food. We had dinner and breakfast there. The public rooms/bars/restaurants were varied in decor. something for everyone. But the one thing that stood out was the service. Very helpful, professional and friendly. something that doesn't cost much but makes all the difference in a stay/visit!

Excellent stay at the Bull, Beaumaris. The rooms in the townhouse are modern, clean, and well appointed. We had a wonderful evening meal in the restaurant with very good choices on the menu. We all had the lamb wellington, which was delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Will definitely stay there again.

We have stayed at the Bull several times over the years and since becoming an Inn Collection hotel some changes have been made that have been to the detriment of our visit. No deal breakers per se, but little frustrating issues. We stayed in a suite room, which was lovely and very clean and comfortable but missing staple items such as no bottles of water in the room, no towelling robes and no walk in shower. The restaurant was only OK, although service from Jackie was excellent (thanks Jackie, see you again soon) but the menu was rather pub grub and I really struggled to find something on the menu that jumped out at me. In the end, my wife had fish and chips, which was good and I had sea bass with pearl couscous, which was cooked well but just ok. Breakfast was disappointing. No kippers on the menu now, and the poached eggs (well cooked) were served on a dry piece of thin white toast and not the thick, buttered farmhouse bread listed on the menu. When I queried this, the server was unaware of this omission and stated that the eggs were always served on white sliced bread (poor show). I must say that all of the staff we spoke to were lovely and friendly. We didn’t use the bar on this visit, but did notice that it was very very quiet whenever we looked in and that’s a surprising change from what we have experienced in the past. It’s usually a busy, buzzing atmosphere in the bar. We love Beaumaris and we do love staying at the Bull. We will be back, but would be very disappointed if these issues are not addressed.

Our business is motorbike tours and we love to stay at this hotel but unfortunately it was full. However, we managed to book a table for dinner. As always food the food was absolutely fantastic 10/10 and the customer service was outstanding- thank you Adam and team! Keep the good work up.

We popped in for a light lunch and a beer. The staff were all very professional and friendly... Our meals were superb... beautifully presented and very generous portions. I look forward to visiting the Bulls Head again in the future. It has a lot of history to it as you can tell from the building. Late 14th century in some places..
