Weizhou Island Reef Homestay

Service: I booked this hotel specifically because of the online recommendations for its excellent service, and it definitely lived up to the hype. All the staff members were very welcoming. CORALREEF | Afternoon Tea: Freshly squeezed juice and desserts were available daily. Weizhou Island Pier Pick-up and Drop-off: The pick-up and drop-off service was very warm and friendly.

The staff here are incredibly warm and genuine! We felt right at home the moment we arrived. My favorite part was the infinity heated pool – perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots and truly capturing the essence and beauty of Weizhou Island! It's absolutely stunning and makes for amazing photos. Plus, it’s great for families with kids on vacation 🏖️, letting the little ones enjoy endless water fun in the summer! They also offer a lovely seasonal fruit afternoon tea, which is so relaxing and helps you unwind. The room was very comfortable too, ensuring a great night's sleep!

Booked a pool room, which was quite unique. The hotel environment was amazing, and it's very close to the sea. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast and the meals at the hotel restaurant were both excellent. We were lucky with the weather on the day we arrived; it was beautiful. The sea at Weizhou Island is stunning, and we even saw the sunset. If I come back to Weizhou Island, I'd definitely consider staying here again.

Having stayed at many 5-star hotels, Reef Hotel stands out as the best in terms of attentive and thoughtful service, currently holding the top spot in my heart. There's absolutely nothing to complain about, and the facilities are very user-friendly – a big thumbs up! The complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel was also professionally done, capturing many stunning pictures. It was a very satisfying vacation. Next time I visit Weizhou Island, I'll definitely choose Reef Hotel again.

Overall, it was great! Even though it's in China, it feels a bit like the Maldives. For a domestic hotel, it's really good! **Facilities:** Overall excellent, the best part is the pool. The water is warm, not cold at all, and pool rooms have direct access to the outdoor pool, which is fantastic. Beachfront rooms also lead directly to the beach. **Environment:** The exterior is lovely, with many charming little bungalows. The self-built houses are very pretty, and there are even live singing performances in the evening. The room also came with lots of fruit and beer, which was a nice touch. **Cleanliness:** Generally good, though the private hot spring pool might have a bit of dust. However, you can ask the staff to clean it, and it's unavoidable as it's outdoors. But it's a minor detail that doesn't detract from the overall experience. **Service:** The service was the absolute best! The staff, both male and female, were incredibly gentle and thoughtful. The pick-up and drop-off service was also excellent – they even came to help with luggage. The young woman with glasses was particularly wonderful, and the young man with his hair tied back was also very gentle. Hundred-star rating! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I was very satisfied with my stay. The butler and all the staff were attentive and thoughtful throughout. The breakfast and two desserts included in the stay were also delicious. We also ordered Chinese food, which was quite good. I highly recommend this hotel.

The room's ambiance and service were a real treat on the island. You step out and see the ocean, and on a clear day, the sea here is the most beautiful on the island. The butlers (the 'little guys') were all fantastic; they even came to help me catch bugs when I was scared! Plus, the complimentary travel photoshoot was amazing – I got some incredible shots for my 'life photos' collection.

I'd call this the light of Weizhou Island, the only interesting part of my trip here. It absolutely lives up to its Ctrip rating as the number one B&B in Guangxi. The service was incredibly attentive and thorough. It's a shame I couldn't book a pool room for my travel dates, but the forest sea view suite had a wonderfully natural and rustic charm that I really loved. During my stay, the stewed dishes were excellent, and the restaurant's service for buying and preparing seafood was also fantastic. Even with the hotel almost always fully booked, everything was handled promptly. I had already had a great experience coming from Wild White in Chongzuo, but Reef took it to a whole new level. I usually opt for five-star or luxury hotels when I travel, but this stay significantly boosted my appreciation for and interest in B&Bs. My entire family, from the elders to the children, had a wonderful and relaxing experience. Even though getting on and off Weizhou Island felt like an escape, this trip was worth it because of Reef.

This stay perfectly met my expectations, no disappointments whatsoever! The facilities here are definitely the best on the island. The complimentary afternoon tea was delicious, and the seafood we had the hotel help us purchase and prepare was incredibly tasty – seriously, you *must* try the rock oysters, they're divine! Breakfast is à la carte, with both Chinese and Western options, and you can order more if you're still hungry. The hotel staff were very responsive to all our requests. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. The private beach is wonderfully quiet and peaceful; lying there gazing at the sea was so relaxing, and it was great for photos without crowds in the background. The hotel's famous pool also makes for some fantastic pictures. **Surprise:** What truly impressed me was that the hotel provides a special bag containing all the essentials you'd need on the island, plus they give you their own sun umbrella. I can't express how thoughtful and considerate this is! Even after we left, the positive impression lingered, and my parents kept raving about it. Next time I visit, I definitely want to try a pool room, though they're so hard to book, haha!
