Huge thanks to Vera for contacting us in advance and arranging an upgrade to a suite – a perfect experience! At check-in, the front desk proactively informed us of the upgrade opportunity, which immediately made a great impression.
The room was spacious with excellent views; you could see the scenery right outside the window. The facilities were very well-maintained, and the bedding maintained its usual Japanese-standard softness, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the toiletries were thoughtful and refined.
The hotel's breakfast offered a rich variety, and its location was convenient for getting around. Vera provided attentive and responsive service throughout our stay, demonstrating the hotel's professionalism and sincerity. I highly recommend this place for both business and leisure trips. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

I chose this hotel for my New Year's Day trip to Beijing for two reasons: first, I wanted to explore this specific area, and second, because the reviews for hotels in this location were generally positive. Let's start with the location. While it seems geographically central, it's actually quite inconvenient. There's almost nothing within a 10-minute walk of the hotel, though you can find some restaurants and a supermarket if you venture a bit further. As for the service, I'd say it's pretty standard, comparable to other five-star hotels but without any standout features. However, I must give a shout-out to the lady who delivered our water. When I called the front desk for water, she brought up half a case (those 12-bottle packs), which was incredibly helpful. It's a shame I didn't catch her name. The facilities are excellent; the pool and gym are both very good, and the room decor is lovely, with great cleanliness.

This time, I had a business event in Beijing, and my family also wanted to visit. Seeing the beautiful autumn foliage in Beijing, and with winter approaching in the north, I brought my whole family along.
First, my wife insisted there be a mall nearby for the kids' meals and convenience. Looking back, that was absolutely the right suggestion.
There was no call to inquire about our arrival beforehand. Upon arrival, the concierge provided standard service.
The female staff member handling check-in seemed to have average business capabilities. I had to guide her through the entire process because we needed twin beds and had two children. Since the connecting rooms were being cleaned, we ended up with two rooms separated by another. My main issue was that this front desk staff member didn't proactively offer any suggestions, like asking if the kids needed bed rails or where breakfast was served. She just didn't mention anything. Furthermore, I felt her lack of proficiency was evident when she insisted that bookings made through Ctrip wouldn't earn points, even though my app clearly showed points accumulating. She remained stuck in her own understanding. I quickly interrupted her and asked her to expedite the check-in process.
Breaking it down, the concierges varied in quality. Some were unsmiling and not proactive, while others were very enthusiastic and helpful. One young man left a deep impression, though I can't recall his name. He deserves high praise. Every time I left and returned to the hotel, he was always very helpful and proactive. On another occasion, when our whole family returned, two young concierges came to open the door but suddenly started chatting and laughing, ignoring us. I complained to the hotel about this, and Manager Xu immediately responded and handled the situation appropriately and professionally. She deserves commendation.
Hardware:
The facilities are a bit old, but we didn't mind. The bedding was very comfortable, and we slept well. The cleaning staff (auntie) was very kind and enthusiastic and deserves praise.
Having eaten breakfast at the restaurant for five consecutive days, I always saw a Russian female server standing by the bar. Her attitude was extremely arrogant; she seemed to look down on everyone. Her whole demeanor was very off-putting and disgusting. Most foreign staff members in hotels seem to come to China with an air of superiority. I don't know where this sense of entitlement comes from. With such an attitude, she might as well just go back to her own country; she'd probably earn more.
On the other hand, the noodle master was quite good. Although the ramen chef was stoic, with a hint of intensity in his eyes, he seemed decent. There was also an older master who was always smiling.
Finally, I want to express my strong commendation for Manager Xu. Her attitude was humble, and she handled issues with grace and professionalism. Crucially, she anticipated the guests' concerns. I hope the hotel gives Manager Xu high praise and a reward.
If I were to list all the negative points, I could go on and on. Overall, the hotel's location and its overall value for money in Beijing are quite good. If I don't have any special arrangements next time, I will still choose to stay here!

First, the positives:
1. As a newly opened hotel, both the facilities and service are excellent. At this price point, it's definitely worth the money.
2. It's very close to Universal Studios, and you can see the castle and Universal's hills from the window.
3. The room has screen mirroring, which is a fantastic immersive experience for Harry Potter fans – returning from the park during the day and watching Harry Potter movies on the big screen at night, pure bliss!
4. The hotel pool was a pleasant surprise: heated, and the lifeguard was incredibly helpful. We didn't have swim caps, and they even found two for us. Very people-oriented and thoughtful.
5. All the staff are very enthusiastic. A gentleman with glasses at the front desk helped me carry my luggage to the room. For a woman traveling alone with a child, this was a lifesaver and incredibly touching. This service is far superior to the Toy Story Hotel at Shanghai Disney. Thumbs up!
6. I loved the deep soaking tub, and the decor is very stylish, clearly aiming for a star-rated hotel.
Now for the minor drawbacks:
1. There's only one delivery robot, and it can't deliver directly to the room; you still have to call the front desk, which is quite a hassle. Please take a page from Yinmo Hotel in Hangzhou's book – and your hotel is even a higher class than theirs! Also, I ordered takeout around 9 PM, and it took quite a while for the robot to deliver it. If you're overwhelmed, please get another robot, thank you.
2. Breakfast options are limited. There's no yogurt, the milk is cold, and the waffles didn't come with honey. Please continue to improve this.
3. Please pay attention to room hygiene. There was a short hair on the hand towel. I was staying with my daughter; both of us have long hair, so where did this short hair come from? And it was on a supposedly new towel. After pouring hot water into the toilet, there was still a urine smell. Can't it be cleaned properly? Just use some powerful cleaner.
Overall, it's a hotel that genuinely cares about its service. I will definitely return and recommend it to friends. Loved it!

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in Beijing, and overall, my experience was pretty good! From the moment I arrived, Anna from guest relations was very helpful. She assisted with my luggage, guided me through the check-in process, and informed me about the hotel's facilities and dining times. Throughout my stay, she frequently checked in to see if I needed anything or if there was anything she could help with, even asking if I wanted to order takeout and have the hotel robot deliver it to my room. The robot delivery was very fast. The hotel facilities, including the pool and gym, are all excellent and well-equipped. The Cantonese restaurant, Tang Palace, on the third floor, serves fantastic food! And I really enjoyed the pretzel bun from the bakery! All in all, whether it's the environment, facilities, or service, everything was top-notch!

The hotel is built by the river and has a lawn. The rooms are quite spacious with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. The views from the window include both river and mountain scenery. The lobby offers free parent-child activities and paid Crown Club events, providing plenty of opportunities for kids to burn off energy. The outdoor play area was under renovation, otherwise, there would have been even more to do. The Muyun hot spring has a water play area with a very comfortable water temperature. The hot spring area mainly features four medicinal baths, eight floral baths, and the remaining are mostly private villas (xiju and boju), offering each family a relatively independent space, which is perfect for relaxation. The main issue was breakfast; it was too crowded, even at 10 AM, and the selection wasn't great. Overall, I'm very satisfied and plan to try a family room next time. Yanqing is a great place to enjoy the autumn colors right now, perfect for a weekend getaway.
