The location of the hotel was good, the staff was friendly despite the language barrier. We like the district since it was not at the tourist center. You could see the hotel is not maintained properly. I think there were some strange design flaws right from the beginning like a shower door that leaked all the time after showering. But these were more minor or aesthetical flaws. All in all the bed was comfy and everything worked accordingly. Also, the room service cleaned our room sufficiently. A very fundamental problem were the thin walls. We could hear everything of our room neighbours like arguing and crying, watching TV, shower and toilet flushes. Unfortunately, some guests were incredibly noisy on the corridors (like partying or smoking in their room leaving their doors open which caused beeping noises). We are aware that this is not entirely the hotels fault but due to the poorly isolated rooms, this made it worse. We could have gotten an equally priced hotel closer to the center so I don‘t think price and quality matched entirely.

The main reason for choosing this hotel is its location northwest of the city, making it convenient for access to the Great Wall. It's also easy to get to the highway by taxi, and the facilities are comprehensive. The room is spacious, with a sofa and coffee table, perfect for dining. The entire room is smart, with a large TV that can project a screen. The room has a refrigerator for food, drinks, and medicine, and there's a laundry room with laundry drying. Access to the upper floors requires a card swipe. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the service was very satisfactory. I stayed for four nights and was highly recommended.

My child's high school entrance exam is far from home, so to avoid traffic and being late, we chose Xi'an Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to buses, the subway, and taxis. There's free parking downstairs. Just ask the front desk for the remote control lift before you leave! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and very quiet. I didn't take any photos of the room because I was busy with my kids. When my kid took a bath that night, I was thrilled to find beautiful music playing in the bathroom! The breakfast was mainly Chinese, with several stir-fries, porridge, noodles, and wontons. My kid had to go to school early, so I went to the restaurant before lunchtime. The waiters were very friendly. My kid was so happy to have the warm porridge early in the morning! My check-out time is normally 12:00 PM, but I thought my kid might come back for lunch, so I asked the front desk to extend it to 2:00 PM. Thank you very much! Dining options are also convenient nearby. It's a great choice! I plan to stay here again in three years if my kid's college entrance exam is still here!
