Spacious room and very helpful staff. Was useful to have a microwave, fridge and washing machine with detergent provided. Bathroom could use a few more hooks. Lots of food nearby. Would stay here again.

LOCATION : Apartment is facing Hutong life (historic alleyways and traditional courtyard homes (siheyuan). 10mins walk to Dongsi Train Station (Exit E, Line 5 & 6), McDonalds and supermarket (next to Dongsi Train Station Exit B). 3 - 5mins walk to main road & minimart, a lot of local brand shops and restaurants along the main road. Infront of the apartment is Longfusi (Longfu) area. A lot of local stalls, nice place to chill. Most are local brand shops and well known brands will be 7-11 convenient store, Arabica (% Arabica) coffee shop, Miniso (variety store) and Muji (fashion store). 30mins walk/ 15mins drive to Wangfujing Street (Beijing’s most iconic and bustling pedestrian shopping avenues). 30mins car ride to Niujie St (Muslim area). 15mins car ride to Tiananmen Square & Forbidden City. 1.5hr drive to Great Wall of China (note : The Great Wall has multiple entrances depending on which section you visit. For the highly-rated, restored Mutianyu section (73 km from Beijing), you will arrive at the main Visitor Center and proceed to either the North Entrance (for the cable car) or the South Entrance (for the chairlift and toboggan). Cable car and chairlift, no age limit. Toboggan, 60yrs old and above not allowed to ride)). CLEANLINESS : Room is clean and not carpet flooring, so cleaner and no stain. Queen bed and Queen sofa bed are a bit hard, but OK. Toilet clean, but have mold stubborn stains between the tiles. SERVICE : 24hrs helpdesk. Excellent and very helpful front desk. 1) We wanted to send parcel to a friend in Shenzhen, front desk helped us to book the pick up service using their own phone (we Wechat pay to the front desk staff). 2) We wanted to buy something urgently, and none of the stores sell, but we found the item online and ask front desk to help us buy, cause we don't have local no. and don't know how to navigate the app (no English translation). Front desk bought for us online and we pay them via WeChat again. 1 hour later, the item arrived! 3) Inside the room, there is no phone to contact the front desk. But they do provide us their Wechat QR code, so we can contact them, 24/7! Their reply is so fast, even I texted them at 1am! Less than 15 seconds, they replied! So efficient! Over all, China is so efficient and convenient. FACILITIES : Small gym and pool table available at Level B1. Wheelchair/pram friendly. TV channels, not many selection, mostly all local channels. No English news channels available. No iron board, must request from front desk. Washing machine is clean, come with dryer function (note : need 3hrs to dry the clothes. We wash the clothes at 11pm. Once washing is done after 1 hour, we set to drying mode. Next day morning, the clothes still hot inside the machine. Nice!). Level 1 lobby, they have a room to keep parcels. If you have friends who want to deliver parcel to you or you order online, can send to the apartment directly, but you need to collect the parcel from the parcel room yourself. FOOD : A few halal restaurants near the apartment, but mostly serve beef. If you are not a beef person, you try 紫光园 Ziguangyuan Halal Restaurant (inside Longfu/Longsi area) they serve nice Beijing Roast Duck! They have a lot of outlets, one is near Wangfujing St and another one at Niujie St.

The location was superb! There are two different metros. It is 20 mins walk to Nanluoguxiang. The room was good and we didnt realise that there is another toilet in the main room, which was rather funny. One downside, the main entrance/kitchen area is quite dark + all the cups and facilities are black. It was be quite uncomfortable to the eyes. Else, everything was great! The service was really gooood! We were greeted whenever we exit/enter the hotel. Taobao parcel to the place was really easy too! Thank you so much for the good stay. Throughout my trip, this was the only hotel that i slept so well. Thank you once again! I will definitely come back here.

The hotel is located at the heart of Beijing. Good service, and has a robot to send delivery to your room.

Base is very nicely located in a Hutong close to a main street and a shopping mall Longfusi. The apartment is nice and clean and has a small kitchen and washing machine. There are two subway stops with lines 5, 6 and 8 within a 10 minute walk. Also if you travel from Beijing capital airport, the stop beixingqiao is a 25 minute walk to the hotel. Hotel staff is very nice and helpful

Is inside a nice local alley so a bit of walking is needed to go to attractions. Room is clean and front desk staff is friendly.

Honestly a solid stay with a few things worth knowing before you book. The location is a standout -- easy walking distance to the subway, shops and cafes about five minutes away, and DiDi pickup and dropoff right out front was seamless. The bed is genuinely comfortable, water pressure is good, and the room is as advertised. A washer and dryer in unit, and free water bottles provided daily. Housekeeping was friendly and consistent, and the staff overall were great -- when I hit some bumps during my seven-night stay they were attentive and offered complimentary breakfasts and tea without being asked. There's a coffee shop downstairs which I used regularly. A few things to be aware of: 1 - VPN is blocked on the hotel Wi-Fi 2 - Air conditioning in the room is not guest-controlled 3 - My room at the back of the building had a heavily used door nearby that slammed throughout the day and into the early morning hours Would I stay again? Possibly -- the bones are good and the staff made a real effort. Just go in with eyes open on those three things.

Not my first time staying in base. The apartments are quite good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The kitchen could have some pans to cook in. The rooms were big , the only issue is a bit dirty walls.
