Beijing Huayutang Homestay (Universal Beijing Resort)

We landed at 10 PM and didn't get to the B&B until almost midnight, but the owner still messaged us and waited up for us. The B&B also offers breakfast and a free shuttle service! I'll definitely book this place again next time I go to Universal. The environment is lovely, and there are even little cats. It's a shame we only stayed one night.

1: The location is near Universal Studios, and there are two shuttle buses in the morning (7:40, 8:40) that pick up right at the guesthouse entrance, which is very convenient. 2: Breakfast is provided, with boiled eggs, stir-fried dishes, several kinds of side dishes, steamed buns, and porridge. Since it was during the Spring Festival, the owner arranged dumplings 🥟 every day, which shows great thoughtfulness. You can tell they put a lot of effort into running the place, and the kitchen is very clean. Breakfast starts at 7:10 AM, so you can finish breakfast and catch the shuttle right on time. The arrangements are very reasonable. For this price, including meals near Universal, the value for money is excellent. You can eat your fill and head out to conquer the rides! 💪 3: The guesthouse has several courtyards, and we stayed in one of them (they are all very close, just dozens of meters apart). The courtyard has a lot of greenery, which I imagine would be beautiful in the summer 😻. We're planning to come back during the summer vacation. The lobby has a refrigerator, microwave, and vending machine, everything you need. There are also friendly cats you can pet, especially docile ones. One named 'Tuantuan' is particularly cute. 4: The room's soundproofing is excellent, the floor heating is very strong, and the hygiene is spotless. The toilet seat is heated. The owner is very welcoming and responds to requests promptly. The common areas have plenty of snacks, and you can chat with other guests about their travel tips. 5: Staying here for our Universal trip was perfectly arranged. Food, accommodation, and transportation were all taken care of, which is the ideal way for a 'lazy' vacationer. We had originally planned to stay in the city after returning in the evening but decided to extend our stay for another day. When you're tired from playing, you really don't want to check out... Plus, we happened to catch the owner making incredibly delicious steamed buns [grinning face emoji]! Friends, with its great environment, complete facilities, and unbeatable value for money around Universal, I highly recommend it.
