Despite staying at other branches of this hotel chain, this is my first time staying at this particular location. And frankly, it was a great experience despite me and my tired self sleeping so much.
Although it was a hard-to-find location, with AMap not showing me the right location initially, after finding it, it was very pleasant.
The front lobby is sleek and modern, plus the front desk attendant was very kind. She offered me complimentary toiletries and was surprised by my declining them. But I told her (in Chinese) that I already have my own. However, I did indulge in the self-serve complimentary earplugs since the walls between rooms at this place were thin.
The room I stayed in was very clean and to be honest, both the room and hallways smelled fresh. It had a window, but there was a film over it, not letting you see outside. This may be an issue for others, but I loved it since I like to change clothes with natural light.
Doors use key cards and those key cards also let you turn on thr electricity to the room.
Cleaning staff come by once a day and if you say "不行" or something similar, they'll leave you alone and come back the next day.
Food delivery and online order shelf is right outside the door. Very convenient, especially for those of us who are jetlagged and need to rest.
I will say that the closest 地铁站 is a 20-minute walk away. But the bus station is close by. Be prepared to walk. Other branches of this hotel are in Chaoyang if you need one closer to a metro station.
Overall, it is a nice place and I would recommend it to people in a hearbeat. I got a hotel here since it was the cheapest place I could find on short notice and I have not one regret in sight.
