We first liked the hotel based on the photos on Trip.com, and after checking in, our expectations completely matched reality.
The hotel staff is very polite and friendly. They checked us in early and upgraded us to a room with a bathtub. They also helped with our suitcases. Later, the hotel staff assisted us with visiting the Summer Palace in Beijing.
The room had everything we needed. Soft slippers and separate shower slippers, bath salt, toothbrushes, a sanitary kit, a hairdryer, and a comb. The shampoo and shower gel had a pleasant scent — high-quality tea leaf cosmetics.
The bed is large with two types of pillows, one of which is orthopedic. There are blackout curtains, and for those who are sensitive to even the slightest noise, there are 3M earplugs.
But my favorite spot in the room became the tea ceremony area by the window. The hotel provided free tea: Tieguanyin and Da Hong Pao. It was delicious. It was very pleasant to start the day with oolong tea and enjoy black tea in the evening after long walks.
Additionally, the hotel has a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes. If you only need to steam or iron things, there are several types of steamers available. The hotel provides detergents, and everything is completely free. The girl at the lobby helped me figure out the washing machine and later brought the dry clothes to our room. Thank you so much — it allowed us to walk around the city without worry.
Breakfast is served at the hotel’s café with a choice of 2 dishes and a drink. We had ciabatta and yogurt with fruit, plus coffee with milk. It was tasty, filling, fresh, and prepared quickly.
I really liked this hotel. There’s good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The location is excellent — in the historical center, so you can walk to many attractions. And by the way, there’s a street with vintage shops just a 40-minute walk away.
