TRUE GO Hotel (Beijing Yiheyuan)

The accommodation was fantastic! When we checked in, the front desk lady noticed we had a child and thoughtfully asked if we'd like to upgrade to a family room, just to enhance our stay. It turned out the family room was indeed better – more comfortable and allowed us to relax more. All the drinks in the room were complimentary, and if we needed more, staff would kindly deliver them. The late-night snacks were a heartwarming touch; it was great to pop downstairs, grab two bowls of congee, and then head to bed after finishing them. The room facilities were all brand new, and there was no unpleasant odor. While we were out during the day, the staff would diligently clean the room. The scent in the hotel corridors was lovely; I'd love to know what it is! A big thank you to the front desk staff, both male and female. Because our child didn't want to leave the room, whenever we went out to buy food or borrow a charger, the staff would kindly help us swipe our room card to get back upstairs. We really appreciate it! All in all, this hotel experience was excellent and absolutely worth it!

Check-in was super fast, and the room was spotlessly clean. They even provide complimentary water and sodas, which is a nice touch. The best part? There's a free printer on the first floor! That's incredibly generous of the hotel, especially since it's freezing in Beijing and print shops aren't exactly close by. Because of that, I immediately wanted to extend my stay. Downstairs, there are some great and affordable places to eat, including a halal restaurant and a seafood dumpling spot. There's also a decent-sized supermarket, which is really convenient for grabbing essentials, and even a Daoxiangcun (Innocent Village) store (though not directly operated by them). I noticed a lot of people buying from there, so I imagine the pastries are quite fresh.

• Excellent Location: Just a 4-minute walk to Anheqiao North Subway Station (Line 4), which is one stop directly to the North Palace Gate of the Summer Palace. There are supermarkets and Daoxiangcun (a famous pastry shop) nearby, making it convenient to buy local specialties. • Cleanliness & Facilities are Top-notch: The room was clean and odor-free, equipped with fresh air ventilation and a humidifier. The bedding was soft, and the bathroom featured a separate wet and dry area. There's a projector and voice-activated smart devices. Public areas include a breakfast restaurant, gym, and reading zone. • Convenient Parking: The hotel has its own parking lot, making it very friendly for self-driving guests.

The hygiene and service were both great. They even gave us a small gift, and the drinks and water in the room were unlimited. Overall, it was a very good experience.
