The location is super convenient! Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Natural History Museum are all within walking distance, and there's a subway station right outside. You'll find snack streets and convenience stores nearby too. The room was quite spacious and didn't feel cramped at all. The staff, both the guys and girls, were so friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. We initially stayed for 4 nights in a king room, then moved to a suite for one night. On our first check-in, they gave us a small fruit platter and even decorated the room with a cute little elephant made from towels – it was adorable! Compared to Mercure, there were a couple of minor downsides. First, for breakfast, there was only one person making noodles and pancakes, so the line got quite long. Second, their takeout containers seemed incredibly precious. They were tiny, like airplane meal containers. We asked for three – one for hot food, one for dessert, and one for fruit – which I don't think is excessive. The staff politely said that giving us two was already beyond their standard. Seriously, it's like guests are personally costing the owner their spot on the rich list! Come on, be a bit more generous.
