Dazheng Hotel (Beijing Zhongguancun Dazhongshi Metro Station Branch)

I was in Beijing for business on Zhichun Road, and after comparing several hotels nearby, I chose what I felt was the best value for money. The cleanliness was excellent; I did a quick scan upon entering and everything was spotless. The transportation is quite convenient; it's not too far from the places I needed to go. There's a bus stop about 100 meters away that goes directly to Beijing North Station, though the bus intervals can be long, so using Baidu Maps to time your arrival is helpful. The room is a bit mini, and taller people might feel cramped, but it had the private bathroom I needed and a small table for takeout, which was perfectly sufficient for a business trip where I'm out all day and just need a place to rest at night. The facilities are comprehensive; it had everything necessary, including toiletries like a toothbrush, comb, and small towel upon check-in. There was also a box of tissues next to the complimentary drinks in the room, which was convenient. It had a small window in the corridor, and the smart toilet and fresh air system advertised on Ctrip's page were indeed impressive; there was no strange odor in the room, and the heated toilet seat was very comfortable to use. The hotel's policy is quite friendly; you can cancel until 6 PM on the check-in day. Since my business went smoothly, I could leave a day early. When I checked in around 4:30 PM, I mentioned canceling a day, and they readily agreed.

The mattress in the king room was incredibly comfortable. The room itself was clean and bright, and the bathroom and toilet facilities felt very premium and worked perfectly. The front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and the overall value for money was excellent. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. Huge thanks to the hotel for their thoughtfulness, which made this stay so comfortable.

When I first started looking for hotels in Beijing on Ctrip, I was completely misled by this hotel's claims of a fresh air system, latex mattresses, and so on. Upon arrival, I found the environment to be terrible. First of all, there was no sign for 'Dazheng Hotel' outside the building. I arrived at night and walked up and down the street for ages, unable to find it. Eventually, I had no choice but to call their front desk. It kept redirecting me to a Shanghai number, for some reason, and no one answered. Finally, after much effort, I found the Dazheng Hotel's front desk number through the booking page, but again, there was no answer. I stood in the cold wind for over twenty minutes before the front desk finally picked up. When I got upstairs, I saw that it shared the same sign and location as Qingyu Hotel, which was never mentioned on their hotel's promotional page. This whole ordeal wasted a lot of my time. Once inside, the room was incredibly small. You could say you're on the bed as soon as you walk in, with no space even for a suitcase. I was traveling with my child, and the room felt very cramped, making it impossible to get a good rest. Additionally, when I wanted a drink, I found the kettle full of grime. Not just limescale, but a dark, murky mess, as if someone had put cigarette butts or something else in there. This clearly showed that the hotel pays no attention to cleaning the kettles during housekeeping. Such unhygienic conditions were unbelievable to me. So, despite originally booking two nights, I immediately changed my reservation to stay only one night. Most of the guests staying there seemed to be couples, so if you're looking for a peaceful accommodation, I'd advise caution before choosing this place.

So happy! Staying here is incredibly convenient! The hotel environment is fantastic and super smart, especially the toilets! The surrounding facilities are excellent too! There's an internet cafe and a gym upstairs!

It was good, very clean, and the price was very reasonable for a hotel in the capital city.
