Dongsi Hotel Beijing (Near Wangfujing)

The room size was just right, perfect for families. Housekeeping cleaned daily and promptly refilled amenities. The service was attentive and friendly. It's very close to Wangfujing, and the subway station is just a 400-meter walk, making transportation very convenient. There are plenty of dining options nearby like Longfu Temple, Nanchengxiang, and Ziguangyuan. Great value for money, definitely recommended!

The air conditioning was old, the room was cold, and there were bugs. The staff attitude was good, but overall it was a poor stay. I don't recommend it.

The room didn't match the pictures online; it was outdated and cramped. There wasn't even enough space for two adults to stand comfortably, and nowhere to hang clothes. The promised complimentary drinks never materialized. The hotel description said a hairdryer was provided, but you had to go to the front desk to get one and return it yourself. The shower stall had no exhaust fan, and it was an electric water heater. Absolutely not worth the price; a very poor stay.

This hotel has an absolutely superb location! I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed? Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean. Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set. Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average. Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
