Beijing Xiaofengxian Mansion Hotel（Tiananmen Square Qianmen Pedestrian Street）

The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, and I loved the unique decor. We stayed here with my elderly parents and kids during the summer holidays, and the bed was spacious enough for all of us, making for a very comfortable stay. We even stumbled upon a hidden gem – walking into our room, we found a celebrity taking photos in the hotel! What a pleasant surprise. 😄

The hotel service was excellent. They contacted us in advance before check-in and sent us the location. The staff even came into the alley to pick us up. It was August and scorching hot, so it was a relief to get inside. My mom and I tried on the qipao dresses provided by the hotel, which we could take to our room to change into and then take photos around the hotel. Everything in the room was complimentary. The air conditioning was very strong. The hotel is very close to Qianmen Street, about a 5-10 minute walk. The front desk recommended a few good places to eat, and the Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles) was absolutely delicious – a must-try! The alley is a bit narrow, and there's some renovation going on around the hotel, but it didn't affect our sleep at all.

This hotel has a fantastic, Republic of China-era design – absolutely beautiful and perfect for photos! The location is also excellent, right next to Dashilan West Street, making it super convenient to find great food and many popular photo spots.

I stayed at Xiaofengxian Residence for two consecutive nights. The location is really convenient; it's just a short walk to Qianmen and Dashilar, making it easy to grab food or wander around. The residence itself is a renovated old house, full of Republican-era charm, and the courtyard is great for photos. They even offer free cheongsam rentals for pictures, which is a nice bonus and adds good value.

The front desk lady was so thoughtful, she saw I had kids and proactively upgraded our room and even helped with our luggage to the room. Big thumbs up! The hotel has a retro vibe, perfect for taking photos. The complimentary afternoon tea was also very generous!

Exploring Beijing's Culture and Cuisine Stayed at a Republic of China-style hotel nestled in a Beijing hutong. It's full of antique charm, with beautifully carved wooden staircases that exude a vintage vibe. The front desk staff, especially the young man, was incredibly helpful! He proactively arranged a car for us to Universal Studios and even assisted with our luggage, seeing us off to the car. Truly excellent service! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The room was clean, and the staff provided attentive and thorough service. The afternoon tea and Qipao experience were fantastic, truly giving off a strong Republic of China vibe. It's a hotel full of民國風 (Republic of China style).
