Beijing Chengxuan Hotel (North Palace Branch of Summer Palace)

1. The room looked a bit dated. I was particularly impressed by the lack of hot water in the shower, which was only lukewarm. The shower door was also old and crooked, making it difficult to close. 2. There were no windows, so it felt quite depressing. It's suitable for those who only stay overnight and sleep in before leaving early the next morning. 3. It's relatively close to public transportation; the Summer Palace's North Ruyi Gate is about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel also has an elevator. 4. The mattress was soft and springy, making it comfortable to sleep in. Although the cleanliness was average, those with a mysophobia might want to bring their own disposable mattress pad. As for budget hotels, I stayed in three hotels with similar prices, but this one was the worst experience. The lack of hot water is truly unacceptable.

The Summer Palace is very close and you can walk there, but there are few parking spaces at the entrance.

This hotel is truly amazing! From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was incredibly comfortable and convenient. The room was clean, tidy, fully equipped, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable, providing a wonderful restful environment. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive, always meeting our needs promptly. Furthermore, the hotel's location is excellent, with convenient transportation and close proximity to numerous restaurants and attractions. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

The hygiene is very poor. There are hairs everywhere in the bathroom, especially in the floor drain due to rain. The hair dryer is covered with dust. The bathroom door has not been wiped for several years. The dust under the table is thicker than snow. It is recommended to prepare two pairs of sandals for bathing convenience.
