Very nice and hospitable persons, loved our stay!

The facility is clean and tidy, the host is hospitable, but the problem is the bathroom. After you shower, the big problem is the water on the tiles, which are very slippery, causing the possibility of a serious fall. If you are careful, we put a towel on the floor, but slippers do not guarantee that you will not slip.

The owners/staff went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. We took our breakfasts on the terrace. The food we excellent. The lady owner took us to the entrance of the wall where we needed it and gave us useful advice. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient. On the downside, there were very inconsiderate guests who shouted and smoked from 5:45am two days in a row. Also, the beds were particularly hard. So, my recommendations to satisfy international guests would be to have a no noise and smoking policy from 22:00 to 07:00, dedicate a non-smoking space in the restaurant, and provide a mattress topper or additional blanket for those who need a softer bed. Objectively, the room was more like a 7/10 but the service was 13/10, so in total 10/10 😊

Ok for alpinists, don't expect too much from this country side

A simple, basic but sufficient stay in this very small village. It's very close to bus stop H25 and they came to pick me up at the stop (we exchanged messages before I arrived). Very comfortable. The price of the food (for meals and for breakfast) surprised me a bit, so if you are traveling on a very tight budget ask before you order.

The host was no nice thank you so much! I highly recommend this accommodation! It was typical and close from one part of the Great Wall if you want to hike or climbs in the mountains.

The courtyard has a wonderful, relaxing environment, a welcome escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and a great cure for insomnia. The hostess was also incredibly warm and hospitable, and very helpful. Thumbs up! 👍

A rural family compound, neat and tidy. The rooms are small but very clean, offering excellent value for money. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The humidity was a bit high upon arrival, but the air conditioning was a welcome change, providing both a cool and refreshing experience. The owners are a family of three. The parents are honest and knowledgeable about the tourist routes, and their daughter is warm, thoughtful, beautiful, and a great cook. The entrance to the scenic spot is about 1.5 kilometers away, and we were picked up and dropped off by a three-wheeled farm vehicle, which was very considerate. It was a wonderful stay and highly recommended! Since it's relatively undeveloped and remote, we were able to ask them any questions and they guaranteed us a satisfactory solution, which is invaluable, saving us energy and making the most of our time.

+ Very nice owners, they even drove us to the entrance of the Great Wall trail without us even asking. Dinner was delicious and reasonably priced for the location. The dish with the local specialty vegetables was very, very good – definitely try it. We would come back again. - The shower hose had a hole in it.

I want to express my gratitude to the owners of the hotel. For their kindness and responsiveness. I was traveling alone and a nice girl took me and brought me to the beginning of the trail to the wall of the Jiangkou part. Just an amazing part of the wall! Afterwards in the evening they fed me deliciously, made coffee. It was a very warm welcome, I will never forget and will remember it with warmth ❤️

Great accommodation experience ~ quiet environment with a small vegetable garden It was a cold November night ~ the bed was warm with a heating pad ~ the dinner was delicious ~ The lady boss kindly took me to the trailhead of Jiankou🐍🐍 Jiankou Great Wall is worth a visit.
