Came to Beijing for Mayday's 5525+2 concert at the Bird's Nest. Facilities: Everything you need is provided. Cleanliness: Pretty clean. Environment: It's right across from the Bird's Nest, but surprisingly quiet. Excellent! If I come back to the Bird's Nest for another concert, I'd definitely choose this place again.

This is my go-to hotel every time I see Mayday! The location is perfect, within walking distance to the Bird's Nest, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel environment is great, and the service is excellent too. Last time, I left my charger, and they mailed it back to Tianjin two days later. This time, I left my clothes (with my ID in the pocket!) at breakfast, and when I went back at noon, they had neatly put them aside, and I retrieved them without any hassle. It would be even more perfect if they had a slightly lower pillow option next time!

I chose this hotel for a concert, and it was super convenient to walk to the Bird's Nest. The hotel's common areas and room layout were pretty standard, but the breakfast selection was quite varied.

Ambiance: It's okay. Although it was renovated in 2021, it doesn't feel particularly new. The cleanliness is pretty good. Service: Very good. They even provided bottled water. Facilities: The facilities don't quite live up to five-star standards. There's a Cantonese restaurant in the hotel called Yuefeng Pavilion. The food is excellent and definitely worth a return visit. Parking: There's a 24-hour parking voucher available.

The room was clean and had a great view. The best part is its proximity to the Bird's Nest, which is super convenient for concert-goers like us. The room was also spacious and offered excellent value for money.

Close to the Bird's Nest and Water Cube, the location is great and offers excellent value for money. The front desk staff were really friendly and even upgraded us to a room with a view for free! I'll definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance!

The room was nice and warm! 👍 We went to the buffet dinner, and the Spanish BBQ was excellent. The Spanish chef carved the meat for us right there, and it was all-you-can-eat with various beef, lamb, chicken, and pork. The meat quality was outstanding and very fresh. They even had candied hawthorn berries to cut through the richness, and the service was fantastic too!

This hotel is located on North Fourth Ring Road in Chaoyang District, close to the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. It's a 10-minute walk to Olympic Park, and right next to the Xinchenli shopping mall, offering plenty of dining options. It's a very established five-star hotel, opened in 2003. While some of the restaurant facilities are showing their age, the lobby is still very grand. It used to be an IHG hotel but is now a state-owned property. On my first stay, I was upgraded to a suite of almost 30 square meters, with decent views. Although there's a bathtub, the shower stall is particularly small. You can see the Bird's Nest in the distance. The hotel boasts conference rooms and an executive lounge. On the ground floor, there's a gym, swimming pool, buffet restaurant, and a sports-viewing restaurant, along with other commercial amenities like an ATM and an antique shop. I noticed quite a few foreign guests staying here. The service was excellent. The staff were all very polite, and check-in and check-out procedures were very convenient. You can also store luggage at the concierge. The overall breakfast quality was quite good. In addition to a rich variety of Chinese and Western pastries, there were also Beijing-style pastries, specialty snacks like Jianbing Guozi (fried pancake fruit), Hulatang (spicy soup), and Doufunao (tofu pudding), plus live cooking stations for noodles. The Hulatang, fruits, drinks, and nuts were all of good quality, exceeding expectations. However, adding an extra breakfast costs 150, which seems a bit steep. Prices range from approximately 700 to 1000+ RMB. Overall, the transportation is convenient, and the hardware facilities, environment, and service are generally good. It was a pleasant stay.

I booked this hotel because the one I originally wanted was fully booked, so I just took a chance on this one near the event venue. I expected it to be old, but to my surprise, the room was actually quite nice and clean, much better than I thought! I once stayed at the Marco Polo nearby for another event, and that room was horribly old and not very clean, it was a real struggle. This place is many times better. If I can't book the InterContinental in the future, I'll definitely consider this one. The breakfast selection was quite good, but they were slow to clear tables, so finding a clean spot was a bit difficult.

The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were a bit old. It said it was renovated in 2021, but the toilet wasn't smart. The worst part was the sink; the drainage was terrible. How bad? Even just brushing your teeth would cause the water to back up, which was pretty disgusting. Good thing I only stayed for one night; I just made do with it.

In late April, with outdoor temperatures at 25 degrees Celsius, the room had no air conditioning, making it stuffy and uncomfortable. The lack of cool air in the room was a terrible experience. Additionally, when I asked the front desk staff a question, they had a scowl on their face the entire time.
