The service was excellent, very warm and attentive, and the staff were top-notch. The executive lounge was fantastic, and the breakfast spread was very generous. The environment is elegant, and it's right next to Beijing's CBD, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. It's perfect for business discussions 👍🏻

This old five-star hotel is still well-maintained, but this time, during the May Day holiday, there were so many guests that even the Executive Lounge was packed. Breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner were all swamped, which really impacted the stay experience. Also, the food at the Executive Lounge was genuinely subpar, especially the afternoon tea, which has dropped several levels compared to before. The happy hour offerings were also just so-so, with no substantial dishes. We booked a suite this time, and the view was fantastic. I was very pleased with the large fruit platter.

This is an older five-star hotel. While the facilities and building show their age, the location is excellent and transportation is convenient. The service is also very good. It felt very convenient for my business trip.

China World Hotel is truly a perfect hotel! I was so pleasantly surprised to find out it was a filming location for 'The Tale of Rose' after checking in. The environment is elegant and luxurious, and the rooms are clean and comfortable! I'm so satisfied! The lobby also has a stamp for check-ins and sugar painting activities, which all the kids loved!

The hotel lobby is still grand and opulent. While the common areas of the hotel feel a bit dated, they are very well-maintained. The breakfast, however, was quite disappointing, much worse than at many other Shangri-La hotels. The live cooking station was a bit dirty, and only offered noodle soup and wontons (which had to be made fresh). For the noodle soup, you could only choose the broth, with no toppings whatsoever. During peak breakfast time at 9 AM on a holiday, many dishes were almost gone and not replenished promptly, leaving very few choices.

Really liked it! The location is convenient, and it's easy to get a taxi in Beijing. The lounge food was enough to fill me up, although there wasn't a huge variety. During the May Day holiday, they even had some special activities. I was too tired from sightseeing in Beijing to try them out, but they sounded like fun!

This classic platinum five-star hotel is a favorite of ours. We returned and opted for a suite, which was very comfortable. The service and cleanliness are excellent, and we'll definitely be back.

As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury and offered an amazing experience. The location deserves a special mention – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to both Metro Line 1 and Line 10, making travel completely effortless. Step out of the hotel, and you're right at a shopping mall with so many shopping and dining options it's hard to choose. All your retail therapy and foodie cravings are easily satisfied. The room was an even bigger surprise. It was incredibly spacious and bright with excellent natural light. The floor-to-ceiling window, in particular, offered an incredible view. Lying down and enjoying the scenery was pure bliss. The amenities were also complete, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable. I slept like a baby, straight through till morning, feeling completely refreshed. Breakfast is also worth highlighting. There was a wide variety of both Chinese and Western options, so many choices that I was able to have a satisfying meal every morning. The customer service was warm and polite throughout, always thinking of the guests' needs. The service was exceptionally thoughtful, truly deserving of high praise! I had such a wonderful stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit~

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and even gave us a free room upgrade. The only downside was that without a robot delivery service, takeout couldn't be brought up to the room, so I had to go downstairs to pick it up myself.
