We were very pleased that the hotel offered a complimentary upgrade to a street-view room. Their quick call when my child's ID was accidentally left behind was excellent service, which we really appreciated. The location is also fantastic and easy to find, right within Dashilar, where you'll find plenty of dining options. It's very convenient for exploring the surrounding areas.

The courtyard is lovely, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. It's conveniently located with many dining options nearby and close to all the main attractions. Parking was also easy. My only complaints are that the blackout curtains were quite poor, and the sound insulation wasn't great.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The hospitality was outstanding. We were very happy with the room; it was quite spacious and even had a lounge chair that our child absolutely loved. The bathroom featured a practical wet/dry separation. I heard the owner operates seven properties, and they even provided pick-up and drop-off services after the evening shuttle bus had finished its runs.

The room was beautifully decorated. This will definitely be my first choice for a guesthouse when I visit the Great Wall again. We had originally booked 'Yiyi Bushe', but due to a power outage in the village that day, the owner kindly relocated us to 'Nanshan Xiaoyuan'. The owner was incredibly hospitable and warm. We chose accommodations near the Great Wall for easy access. It was very convenient. Turn left and walk about 200 meters to the free bus stop. For dining, turn right and then left again, and you'll find a Hunan restaurant. The room was spacious and clean, with separate toilets and showers. The bed was comfortable, and all toiletries were disposable. There was a washing machine outside for laundry, and hot water was in the kitchen. Everything you needed was there, so convenient! (The room had floor-to-ceiling windows, so the light was great.) When we left, the host even gave us a ride to the Badaling bus stop. What a great host!
