While it retains the authentic charm of a traditional courtyard house, there are indeed situations where vehicles cannot directly reach the entrance, and the threshold is quite high. For guests with large luggage, we can offer staff assistance at the hutong entrance to help with their luggage. We hope the front desk arranged this service for you at the time. If we were unable to provide timely assistance, it was our oversight. The threshold is a characteristic feature of traditional courtyard houses, but it can indeed cause inconvenience for guests with mobility issues or carrying large luggage. Response from Property: 尊敬的和院家人，看到您給出的好評我們由衷地開心！咱們酒店所在的燈草衚衕,古時因售賣燈芯而得名，北京城從明代時期的600多條衚衕，到現如今完整保留下來的衚衕，衹有30餘條，咱們燈草衚衕就是這其中的一條，燈草衚衕是北京典型的老胡同之一。周邊有“東四”和“燈市口”地鐵站，相距都是700米左右。周邊遍佈耳熟能詳的北京地標王府井、故宮等。感謝您的喜歡。期待下次光臨~
