Holiday Inn Express BEIJING TEMPLE OF HEAVEN by IHG

The hotel was excellent, very conveniently located with lots of dining options nearby! It's super close to Qianmen Street and Tiananmen Square. The staff were incredibly friendly; they even put beds together for my two kids and the complimentary breakfast had a great variety. When my child left some clothes behind, they thoughtfully mailed them back to us! All in all, a fantastic experience!!

Great service and good value for money. The location is excellent. The bed in the room was a bit firm, not the most comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety, especially the delicious fruit and pancakes. Plenty of soft drinks too.

The room facilities are a bit dated, but still functional. The location offers great value for money. A special shout-out to all the staff for their genuine and sincere service, always with a smile – it was truly comforting! The humidifier gets full marks!

I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express over a decade ago, so this business trip was a bit of a return to familiar grounds. Compared to back then, the hotel's software and hardware have both been completely upgraded. When stacked against domestic business hotels of similar price points, Holiday Inn Express significantly outshines them in terms of room size, furniture, public areas, and breakfast offerings. Plus, this hotel is conveniently located in the city center (Qianmen, Tianqiao), making it super easy to get around and visit all the major attractions. The Temple of Agriculture (Ancient Architecture Museum of China) and Tianqiao Museum are also within walking distance and well worth a visit.

I booked this hotel because I had an early flag-raising ceremony to attend. Overall, it offers good value for money, and the front desk staff were very friendly, but the facilities are just average.
