Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. The front desk staff were polite and professional, and I was pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bedding was comfortable, making for a great stay. The breakfast offered a wide variety of choices and tasted good. Although there was a minor issue during my stay, the staff handled it sincerely and proactively. The service is commendable, and I would definitely prioritize staying here again for future trips.

Room: Renovated in 2022 with a French light luxury style. I stayed in a standard king room (25㎡) which featured a zero-pressure mattress, mini-fridge, smart toilet, capsule coffee machine, complimentary mini-bar (Beibingyang soda/beer), and a casting-enabled TV. The soundproofing was good, and the front desk proactively offered earplugs. I'd recommend booking the deluxe/club floor directly for city views through floor-to-ceiling windows, and avoid the 'superior' rooms with sealed windows and the 'standard twin' rooms with hallway-facing windows. Services & Facilities: Check-in at the front desk was quick, and they were helpful in upgrading me to a quieter room. Late check-out was also negotiable. The Western restaurant on the fifth floor offers both Chinese and Western breakfast options (their Jianbing Guozi, beef noodles, and peanut butter have all received praise). The laundry room and gym are practical, making it suitable for long-stay business travelers. There's also a robot for item delivery. Minor drawbacks: It's not directly at a subway entrance, so walking with luggage can be a bit tiring. Some lower-floor rooms or those with sealed windows have limited natural light. Prices can surge during peak season, and parking uses a public garage. Overall, for a budget of 600-800 RMB in the Chaoyangmen-Sanlitun area, getting a French-style four-star experience is pretty impressive.

First stop in Beijing, the room was very clean and the service was excellent. Great experience for a family trip or business travel. The bed was super comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised that it was close to all the places I needed to go, so I could just walk every day. Everything nearby was easily accessible.

On this business trip, I once again chose the Mercure Beijing Downtown. Initially, I didn't book breakfast as I didn't plan on needing it, but then I got a last-minute notification for a meeting. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and gave me two days of complimentary breakfast. As a HUAZHU Gold member myself, I can say the breakfast is delicious and the service is excellent. The location is also very convenient for getting around. I'll definitely choose the Mercure Beijing Downtown again for my next business trip.

The hotel's location is convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's not far from CCTV Tower, China World Trade Center, Sanlitun, and even Pop Mart Land, making it easy to get around by subway or taxi. The rooms are quiet, and the delivery robot brings food right to your door. The staff are also incredibly friendly and polite; they always greet you when you see them. They were very patient and helpful when we wanted to view the room beforehand, and there's always someone at the lobby entrance to help open the door. All in all, it exceeded my expectations! Thumbs up!

The room was great, really loved it. The location is good, but there aren't many elevators, so you have to wait a bit when it's busy. It's a shame that you can only book a suite and can't upgrade. Overall, it's very good, and food delivery can come straight to the room.
