Atour Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station Tao Ranting Subway Station)

This hotel boasts an excellent location, and the rooms are bright and clean. Breakfast is served on the 6th floor, which has a lovely ambiance and good food. I booked a king-size bed room, and upon arrival, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a 'Jimu' room, which was very quiet. My stay was very comfortable and offered great value for money. Loved it!

The hotel is conveniently located just a hundred meters walk from Exit C of Taoranting Station on Metro Line 4. It's only a few stops to Beijing South Railway Station, making high-speed rail travel hassle-free. Popular attractions like Niujie Street, Temple of Heaven, and Qianmen are also easily accessible. The guest rooms are clean and quiet. The room was spotless, and Atour's signature Plant mattress paired with memory foam pillows helped me relax quickly after a long day of touring. Complimentary bottled water and toiletries were well-stocked. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly during check-in, check-out, and extending my stay. In the evenings, they offer complimentary late-night millet porridge with side dishes, which was incredibly comforting after exploring the city. The sixth floor features a free self-service laundry room and a gym, which is super convenient for long trips. Breakfast offered a rich variety of local and international options. The freshly ground soy milk, handmade tofu pudding, and hand-grabbed pancakes were delicious. They even had Old Beijing Zhajiangmian (fried sauce noodles), catering to both local specialties and standard breakfast fare. There were plenty of choices for a morning meal.

Five-star review! The hotel is right at Taoranting subway station, making it super convenient for getting to the South Railway Station. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk staff were gentle and thoughtful, and they even offered heartwarming congee late at night. The breakfast spread was extensive, and amenities like the laundry room and gym were all available. The value for money is outstanding. I highly recommend it to anyone catching a high-speed train or exploring attractions in the southern part of the city!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, very close to Beijing South Station, which makes traveling and catching trains incredibly convenient. The room was spotless, the bathroom had no strange odors, and all the facilities in the entire room were brand new and fully equipped. The bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. Facilities: Great and new, everything is quite clean. The elevator requires a key card for safety. The toothpaste and toothbrushes are pretty good. Hygiene: The bedding is clean and comfortable, and the pillows are excellent. The bed is large and has just the right firmness. The duvet is very soft, unlike some hotels where laundered duvets can be stiff and crinkly with every turn. The bathroom and fixtures are sparkling clean. There's also a individually packaged alcohol wipe on the toilet, which is a really nice touch. Environment: The overall location is fantastic. It's just a two-minute walk from Exit C of Taoranting subway station, right after crossing a traffic light. Downstairs, there's a bustling dumpling restaurant with decent food. The ramen shop across the street at You'anmen is also good. Transportation is incredibly convenient. The interior environment is also excellent. The restaurant is clean and hygienic, and the tableware is ceramic – I really dislike melamine tableware, it's such a turn-off (some chain hotels of the same caliber use it in their restaurants). Service: Absolutely fantastic! The young lady at check-in was incredibly smart and flexible. Knowing I was accompanying someone for an exam, she offered me an upgraded package based on the exam's end time, allowing me to enjoy a three-person breakfast and late checkout until 6 PM (the last exam finished at 5 PM) at a very reasonable price. This meant I could stay unhurriedly until the very end and even work busily in the restaurant, as the internet speed was excellent. The young lady at checkout was also very pleasant and intelligent, and even gave me a souvenir. Late-night Porridge: I didn't get to use this service as I don't have a habit of eating late-night snacks, but I still appreciate the thoughtful gesture. The last picture is the view from the restaurant's long table. Summary: I've stayed in quite a few five-star hotels and resorts both domestically and internationally. Atour is very convenient and efficient, perfectly aligning with its positioning. I will choose it again if needed in the future.

Super convenient! It's right by the subway station, making it really easy to get to all the attractions. The hotel itself is clean and tidy.

The environment is great, and I had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The 'Anxin Service Plan' (peace of mind service plan) is excellent! The travel tips (Jinnang) were also really helpful! It was even more comfortable than my previous stay at Atour.

Although the room was small, it was quite comfortable overall. The bedding was excellent, and it was very quiet at night. The biggest advantage is its incredibly convenient location, just a few steps from the subway station! I think it's the top choice for anyone needing to catch a train from Beijing South Station the next day. Oh, and the front desk staff were very friendly, and they even offered late-night congee, which my child loved. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Beijing.
