Comfort Hotel (Beijing South Railway Station Tiantan South Gate)

Personnel is very kind. Good living conditions. Good scenery from the window but bathroom needs a bit improvement

Hotel close to Temple of Heaven. Room and toilet are quite clean. Hotel receptionist is also friendly and can speak English.

The personnel is not speaking english at all. The walls are thin and u can hear people in the room next to you talikng. And lastly, the cleanliness of that place is meh. Yeah, they do change garbage bags but they dont clean the floors. Also they say 24h front desk service but I went downstairs at 5am once and there was none when i was going to ask for help with something.

The location of the hotel was good and there were two metro stations close by. The biggest problem is the cleaning. I read the comments here on trip before booking and thought they were being picky but it is really that bad. Even as you enter, the hotel has a B grade document in terms of hygiene, which is already concerning. The bedsheets and pillows were fine but all other surfaces were full of sticky dirt that stays when the place isn't cleaned properly so the dirt just gets wet and sticks. The shower had a wood drawer inside that always gets wet whenever you shower and it was really disgusting. Despite the ok price and the good service, I definitely wouldn't stay there again. And they urgently need to improve their cleaning.
