The hotel room itself was quite nice, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. However, I did have a few negative experiences during my stay:
1. Automatic curtain – The room curtain opens automatically as soon as you enter and insert the room card. This felt a bit creepy, and it was completely unnecessary—especially when entering the room at night.
2. Shower music – When I turned on the shower, a low bass piano sound started playing along with the water. As a solo traveler, the sudden music startled me, and it was not a pleasant experience.
3. Window left open a slip by housekeeping– The window was left open but not obviously noticeable. The outside temperature was around 7–8°C at night, so I woke up in the middle of the night feeling extremely cold. At first, I thought the air conditioning was broken. I waited until 6am and called the counter to check the air-con, unable to resolve the issue over the phone, the counter staff asked me to wait until housekeeping starts working after 8am😔. The curtain switch was next to the bed, because the curtain can only be closed by the bedside switch, I didn't notice the open window until the next morning. When I return the hotel on the second night, the window was again left open, it might be a routine for them but they should have informed the guest.
4. Limited breakfast – The breakfast options were quite limited.
